Soon after, he went into the refrigeration and air conditioning business where he owned his own shop in Wilburton and McAlester. Ray and Lucile moved to Norman in 1954, and Ray worked at the South Naval Base for three years. He worked for seven more years at the Federal Aviation Administration, serving as supervisor of operations and preventive maintenance. Then he went to work at the Veterans Hospital in Oklahoma City. In 1977, after ten years with the Veterans Hospital, he retired as a supervisor.
Ray and Lucile celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1984 where all three of their children and most of their grandchildren attended. Ray enjoyed gardening, whittling with his knife, making knives, and making wine. He was also a good artist. In fact, I would say that Ray inspired me to become more interested in art in my early years.

GGGGGG-Grandfather John Frogge (Frogg) - born between 1710-1717 in Prb. Scotland and
died Aug 18 1794 in Bath Co, VA.
Occupation/Accomplishments: Sheriff in Prince William County, VA and was a Col in the French and Indian War
He married Elizabeth
Strother Nov 9, 1738 in Prince William Co, VA. Elizabeth was born in
1721 in VA and died 1795.
I found indications that John Frogg's father was John Frogg, Sr, born around 1674 and died in 1716. He married Mary (_) Battle. They resided in Christiana, Pennsylvania. There is evidence that they both died by 1717, leaving John Frogg, Jr. an orphan. There are also indications that Hugh Graham and his wife, Mary (Wallace)Graham, may have raised John Frogg after he was orphaned.
Mary Wallace was a decendent of Sir William Wallace, the heroic defender of Scottish independence (aka "Braveheart")
The fact that John Frogg came from Scotland surprised me because I always thought the name Frogge was French. It still may be, but apparently John was born in Scotland, so it makes me wonder if it isn't Scottish. I am also unsure when the name changed spelling from Frogg to Frogge. There are also indications that the name was spelled Frodge or Froedge before Frogg.
