| To all Christian Singles, You are encouraged to form an informal group of Christian men and women for a fun and invigorating ride around beautiful Lake Natoma. This ride is on a paved 12-mile trail that completely circles the lake. Rides (weather permitting) begin at the time shown on the linked schedule. We recommend that you bring water, a spare inner tube, and a safety helmet. Also, please try to arrive 10-15 minutes early to prepare for the ride. There are a couple of gruelingly steep hills that may prove challenging on this ride. On average this ride (including breaks) takes less than 1.5 hours. After the ride this main group usually went to dinner at Dos Cayotes Border Cafe at the intersection of Blue Ravine and Folsom Blvd. An alternative group started at the same time and rides at a slower pace. This group focused on fellowship during the ride and it is expected that those riding within this more relaxed group will look out for each other. The alternate group maked a few stops along the lake to relax, socialize, and enjoy the scenery. The one major stop was at Negro Bar State Park at the upper restroom/ picnic/parking lot area (or alternatively at a picnic table by the lake). Click here for the schedule of this group. |
