| Our Favorite Boys* Were these four ladies really expected to spend an entire four years in a completely testosterone free environment?!? Remember now, they're in college, not a penal colony! Over the years, the girls at "The Crest" have forged strong friendships, and sometimes a little more, with some really wonderful guys. Some of whom have ended up playing huge roles on "As the Crest Turns," while others simply make the occassional "Special Guest Appearance." Here are these boys... |
| "Big Daddy": You should know by now that "Big Daddy" is the long time, long-distance (he currently resides nine hours away in NC) b/f of The Princess. He is regarded very highly here at "The Crest." His visits, and sloppy phone calls are always looked forward to. You can get more information on "Big Daddy" by watching his weekly soap, "The Bold and the Baker." He also plays a big role on another weekly soap, "As 208 Crumbles." (To my knowledge, the two previously mentioned shows are not available above the Mason-Dixon Line. Look for "cross over" episodes soon.) |
| * The term "Favorite Boys," is often used at "The Crest" in reference to the Delta Sig boys of Lehigh University. The ladies have been hanging out there since freshman year, these boys are now, and always will be...OUR FAVORITE BOYS! |
| Little Andrew: This poor soul has the horrible job of always having to come to the rescuse of The Brat when she has gotten herself into another jam. How did this nice young fellow get suckered into this you ask...? Well, easy-he's her brother, and he is a nice guy...Being the Brat she is, she has taken it upon herself to use this to her utmost advantage. Whenever she has "bi-polar moments" or has just done something ridiculous, she calls him, usually in tears to save her sorry ass. The Brat can often be found talking to him on her cell phone late at night when the ladies are out, but he rarely ventures to "The Crest." He thinks it is a strange place, that "smells like estrogen." Little Andrew, there has got to be another star in heaven for you after putting up with her for all these years. |
| "Dr. Drake Ramore": Dr. Dake is a fairly recent addition to the favorite boys list, although he has somehow managed to already receive cookies from The Brat. Not much is known about the young, and handsome Dr. D...We do know that he currently resides in NC, a close personal friend to Big Daddy and The Princess. To our knowledge, a few here at "As the Crest Turns" regard him as their "contact in a far away city." Sources close to Dr. D. tell us that he is often found conversing with one of his many friends on his cellular phone. He is currently starring in the previously mentioned, "As 208 Crumbles," it is rumored that he plans to appear off Broadway this summer-hopefully he will make a stop at "The Crest" along the way. Again, look for Dr. Drake in one of our upcoming cross over episodes. |
| "Smiling": Smiling plays a very important role here on "As the Crest Turns," as the long time b/f of The Minion. Those at "The Crest" give him credit for successfully "tricking" The Minion into her first long-term relationship. What is it about this young man that made The Minion decide the relationship route was the way to go? Sources at "The Crest" say that in general, Smiling is just a really great guy...and, he was persistent. Can Smiling be found at the "The Crest" often? No. Usually, the Minion and Smiling spend their days at Lehigh-why is this you ask?? Rumor has it that a less respected memeber of "The Crest" community has taken it upon herself to make him feel "uncomfortable" visiting Jen. This person has also made the claim that Smiling is severly "co-dependent" on Jen. Is all this true? Well, in a word...NO!!! Our most RESPECTABLE inside sources tell us that these claims are completely unfounded, describing this "less respectable" member of "The Crest" as lonely, jealous, and bitter. Still, just one question about Smiling remains. now that he has officially "pinned" The Minion...is the countdown on for him to "Pop the Question?"
