Notice about the disruptions in our posting:

Our visitors who visit the site daily may have noticed that in the past week, we were not able to post twice -- last Fri (14 Aug) and again, just this Wed (19 Aug) -- an unusual lapse, given the regularity of our posting track record.

To explain what happened using a Webmail analogy, it is as if we could not access our mailbox in order to click on the "Compose" and "Send" buttons. So far, we have not heard any good reason for this glitch from our Web host; it just happened in those instances, and normalcy returned a day (or so) later. Or so, we are told.

But our more than seven years' experience of posting at this site makes us skeptical that the occurrence of these two similar, yet unusual, instances are merely coincidental.

We write this note to caution our visitors that there may be more "bumps" along the transition path to a new Web host (eg, more interruptions in our posting schedule, or the like). If these are meant to pressure or steer us toward a direction that we deem unwise, the tactics can only fail.

As the Site Owner, we intend to review our next steps carefully so that our Web site will have every opportunity to continue its success alongside any other Internet site, as we plan the transition from GeoCities before it closes.

Lastly, may we recommend that you re-read the last two paragraphs
of our previous notice. They may take on more meaning in the light of the two interruptions the past week.
