| SUBMISSIONS: As we will be publishing a variety of genres we are looking for a wide range of artistic styles. Being able to draw action scenes and superheroes is great but we are also looking for artistic styles suited for funny animal, mystery-horror along the lines of Marvel and DC from the 60s and 70s, westerns, sword & sorcery, sci-fi and everything in between. We do accept online submissions but the publisher prefers receiving samples by snailmail. With all samples be sure to include a cover letter and all contact information. If you are submitting by snailmail and wish to receive a postal reply include a SASE if you are in Canada or a SAE with an international reply coupon to cover return postage. Also if you live outside of Canada don't forget to attach a customs declaration coupon and mark it gift. For additonal information please email us at our submissions email address. PAYMENT: As Red Lion Publications is a small, start-up company we will only be able to pay percentage of sale and one free copy of comic in which work is published (plus offer additional comics at a discount). SPECIFIC GUIDELINES: a)WRITERS: Sorry but we are not looking for writers at this time. b)PENCILERS: Copies of 5-6 pages of pencil sequential artwork. c)INKERS: Copies of 5-6 pages of pencil sequential artwork and then copies of the same pages but inked. d)LETTERERS: Lettering samples including logo designs plus two lettered comics pages.
