I. The Black Millennium
- The name of this RPG is The Black Millennium.
- The email address of The Black Millennium is [email protected]
II. What is the Black Millennium?
- The Black Millennium is a role playing game.
- A role-playing game is just that: a game where people assume the names and personalities of characters that they either admire or have made up. We write a story together, kind of like a Round Robin story, if you're familiar with those.
- The Black Millennium is a PG-13 RPG. There are some things in this group, like the conception of Lleuad that a person under 13 may not understand or wish to hear about. If you are under 13 please get parental permission.
- In the Black Millennium, you play a good character (the Asteroid Senshi, the Star Senshi, or a protector of either), a villain (mainly the Black Moon family, but there are of course others under their command), or a neutral character.
- Unlike other RPGs, who play through a chat room or message board, The Black Millennium is played over an e-mail list hosted by Topica. The plus to this is, if you want to play, all you need to have is an e-mail address!
- The Black Millennium is not based on any known time period in Sailor Moon or any other anime show.
- The Black Millennium, if the Sailor Moon series had continued, would take place during and after the fall of Crystal Tokyo. The Black Moon family has finally conquered the White Moon and all of the royal court, other than Small Lady, has been killed. The original Sailor Senshi have also been killed and new Senshi take their place.
III. Rules
- 1. Absolutely no POWER PLAYING.
- For anyone who doesn't know, power-playing is when your character tries to become some god-like figure, with no flaws or weaknesses, or if they excessively speak or act for another character without the other player's permission. A simple "yes" or "no" or "I don't know" is ok, but long speeches and plot changes are a no-no.
- 2. No chain letters. A lot of us really hate chain letters. If you post a chain letter to the list, you will be warned offlist the first time, warned onlist for the second time, and the third time will result in a permanent unsub from the list.
- 3. No flaming of others. We are all entitled to our own opinion, as long as we express it in a calm and respectful manner. People from all different cultures and backgrounds are on the list, so please be respectful. If you have a personal comment for someone, SEND IT OFFLIST. The rest of us really don't give a darn what you think of another player.
- 4. There are only 5 characters allowed to each player. I used to allow as many as people liked, but it got to the point where three people were really ruling the game.
- 5. Each player must post each character at least once every two weeks. This means that if you have to post once every two weeks for each character that you have. If you have 5 characters then Id better be seeing at least 5 posts every two weeks. Im serious about this. If you cant post once every two weeks then DONT JOIN. The only exception to this rule is if you let me know ahead of time that youre not going to be able to post from a certain day to another, and you must let the whole list know it as well.
- 6. There is an official sig that everyone must use, but it's different if you're a goodie or a baddie (if you are a neutral character you can use either, whatever seems to fit the chars personality better, good or bad)
- Goodies: In the Light of The Moon
- Baddies: In the Dark of The Moon
- The Black Moon Kingdom has a special sig they use in addition to the regular sig. It is "Through The Power of (source of power; Cancer, the Dark Crystal)" This is an identification to anyone not aware that these people are the Black Moon Kingdom and should be respected.
- After you sign "In the Dark/Light of The Moon" and your name, you are free to put any quotes, comments (provided they are NOT derogatory or defamatory at all to BM or any of its members), advertisements, or ASCii drawings you choose.
If you don't agree and persist in ignoring the sig rules, these penalties will apply:
- First transgression - you will be warned by Lleuad or Small Lady offlist.
- Second transgression - you will be suspended from the list for one week and your character will be placed in passive duty for that period, meaning no one else in the game may play as or with your character in any way, shape, or form.
- Third transgression - Expulsion from the Black Millennium
- 7. There will be NO advertising new lists. You can advertise your webpage either in your sig or in an OOC that is part of a real post.
- 8. Most of us don't really care if you want to swear in your posts. On the other hand, there are some people who do care. For their sake, if your post contains several nasty words, please put a "Language warning" at the top.
IV. The Black Moon Kingdom
- The Black Moon Kingdom are the leaders of the Black Millennium. They each help run the RPG in some aspect and we couldn't do it without them. If you have any questions with a particular aspect of the Black Millenium, you should email the appropriate person.
- You can get in touch with the whole Black Moon Kingdom at once by sending an email to [email protected].
- Princess Lleuad
- Small Lady
- Draig
V. Posting
- The address of the Black Millennium is [email protected]
- Remember to use the right subject line. Please put "BM:" at the beginning of the subject. Your subject line will look like: "BM: Title of post". And please make sure you get rid of the Re: when replying to a post. Those are really annoying.
- Also, please remember the subject "BM: OT:" or "BM: TAN" for Off-Topic or Tangent mails. These are posts that are not part of the story being written on the list.
- You may not send a post of under five lines. It's a waste of our time to read it. However, if the post you are responding to only allows for a few line post, you will not be penalized.
- Do not paste the entire mail you are replying to. People can go back and read the post you are responding to; you don't need to take up room pasting it.

VII. Amending the FAQ
- All amendments to the FAQ will be done by the Black Moon Kingdom. Anyone may propose an amendment, but for it to become law it must be approved by the majority of the Black Moon Kingdom.
- The GM reserves the right to create amendments without obtaining approval of the members, but is subject to checking by the other members of the Black Moon Kingdom.
