Aqua are planning a new album for Autumn 2010 (30/08/2009)

Past Friday, during an interview in the danish TV2 channel, Aqua announced that they are already in the studio creating new songs and that they won't go on tour next year, as they will be busy recording their third album. If everything goes as planned, the release will happen on Autumn 2010, more than ten years later of Aquarius.

Aqua are very happy with the success of Back To The 80s (#1 on most Danish charts for several weeks) and the Greatest Hits (also #1 and just certified Gold). These results, plus the great times they're having together in the concerts, have convinced them of recording new music.

Lene told during the interview that they don't know how the new album will sound yet, but it will be full of great pop songs for sure. Also, they kept the fan-favourite Shakin' Stevens for the future instead of including it in the Greatest Hits, so the song might finally see the light in this anticipated 2010 CD.
