Girls Aloud cover Lene's We Wanna Party (15/10/2008)

The british girlband Girls Aloud will release their new album Out Of Control next November 3rd. The UK bonus track will be We Wanna Party, a rocked-up cover of Lene's own song from Play With Me album. It was originally written and produced by Xenomania, the masterminds behind Girls Aloud successful career, so it's not a strange decision.

The band already covered Lene's Here We Go in their 2004 album What Will The Neighbours Say?, and Lene herself had co-written two songs for their debut album Sound Of The Underground (2003): the hit single No Good Advice and the fun You Freak Me Out.

Update (24/10/08): You can hear a clip of the We Wanna Party cover here. The music remains mostly untouched from Lene's version, but the Girls Aloud cover has a more powerful chorus.
