Grøn Koncert beats its own records thanks to Aqua (29/07/08)

Past Sunday 27th, the summer festival Grøn Koncert had its big finale at Valby Park (Copenhagen), having sold all the tickets for that day (40.000). Thanks to the Aqua reunion and the performances of other popular danish bands like D-A-D or Nik & Jay, and of course helped by the sunny weather, this classic festival could surpass its own records, with a total of 190.000 atendees during the 8 dates around Denmark, much more than the 140.000 visitors expected by the organizers in their most optimistic forecasts. It's the highest number of atendees in all this festival's history.

The Aqua concert was a huge success, clearly the most celebrated by everyone who attended the last Grøn Koncert at Copenhagen. You will learn more about that concert tomorrow, when I post my chronicle.
