René Dif gets injured during an Aqua rehearsal (02/07/08)

Past Friday, René Dif broke his instep during an Aqua rehearsal. The band are preparing their comeback concerts in the danish Metronome Studios in Jenagade (near Copenhagen, in the island Amager), polishing the new arrangements and choreographies of the songs. They had kept these preparations in secret, but past Friday they invited their friends and acquaintances for a special rehearsal.

While performing one of the last songs, René landed wrongly with his left foot but he completed the show anyway. Later, he started feeling a lot of pain. Now he has his foot all bound up and walks on crutches all the time. Doctors have advised him to stay quiet.

Despite the injury, René Dif is confident in being in top form again once the concerts start, next July 17th in Esbjerg. As of yet, it is unknown if this situation will affect his solo concert of July 12th.
