First details about Lene's acting debut (25/04/2008)

During the last years, Lene Nystrøm has taken acting lessons in Denmark and United States (at the famous Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute of Los Angeles, for example). Now she is ready for her debut in a movie. It will be in a danish thriller titled Fri Os Fra Det Onde (Deliver Us From Evil), directed by Ole Bornedal and scheduled for a danish release of February 2nd, 2009.

The plot of the movie is about an accident that takes place in a small town: while driving despite being drunk, Lars runs over Anna, a local, and he decides to leave false evidences pointing out to the only foreigner, Alain. Lars' brother, Johannes, defends him. But the life of Johannes and his family will soon turn into a nightmare because of revenge, hatred and xenophobia. The movie is expected to be the most violent danish movie ever.
