Tina Cousins covers Pretty Young Thing (24/04/2006)

Australian singer Tina Cousins will release next May 6th the new single from her album Dancemind (2005): a dance cover of the song Pretty Young Thing.

This song was originally recorded and released by Stella Soleil as a promo single of her album Dirty Little Secret (2001), and it was later covered by Lene, who released it as the second single of her album Play With Me (2003). In both occasions, the release of Pretty Young Thing was such a failure that it supposed the last single of each singer's career.

Now it's Tina Cousins turn to release a cover of the same song. Will she be able to gain any success from such a doomed song? At least she has tried to record a very different, dance cover (unlike Lene, who released an almost equal version to the original one).
