Electric Chairs' official "Barbie Girl" cover (09/07/2005)

Brazilian singer Kelly Key released two weeks ago "Sou a Barbie Girl" as the second single from her second album. The song is actually a cover in portuguese of Aqua's "Barbie Girl".

It has been adapted to portuguese by Gustavo Lins and Umberto Tavares, and produced by Pl�nio Projeta, Umberto Tavares and M�ozinha DJ. You can check the lyrics at Aquarama.tk's Lyrics & Chords section.

Despite of the bad reviews, the single is currently at #21 position in the brazilian Hot 100 singles chart, while the album (called "Kelly Key") is at #7 in the albums charts.

In 1999, swedish group Axel Boys Quartet also released an official "Barbie girl" cover, with an interesting jazzy-feel, as the first single from their album "Casino Royal". You can check its lyrics at Aquarama.tk's Lyrics & Chords section too.
