While married to Steve, Gabrielle seduced Max.

Thanks to Blaize, Viki was determined to find Clint. With Clear Eyes� help, Viki made an incredible journey to Buchanan City, circa 1888. She arrived in the nick of time. Clint had become resigned to spending the rest of his life in the past. Just as Clint and Ginny were about to exchange their holy wedding vows, Viki stumbled through the doors and locked eyes with Clint. While they shared a joyous reunion, Ginny fainted from the sight of her �twin.�

Together at last, Viki and Clint worked together to make sure Viki�s ancestors wed. Upon completing their mission, the two went back to Clear Eye�s cave, and were miraculously transported back to 1988. An unconscious Clint and Viki were found in an Arizona desert and rushed to the hospital. Upon waking up, they realized that they had both shared the same fantastic dream.

While Steve lay in a coma, Gabrielle found comfort in Max�s arms. One drunken evening, she managed to seduce her old lover into bed. When Max ultimately spurned her, she attempted to smother Steve with a pillow, but relented just in time. Steve fully recovered. Gabrielle lied to Max�telling him that she was pregnant with his child. Max discovered her charade, and continued to fight his lusty attraction to her. Eventually, Gabrielle felt compelled to tell Steve about what happened between her and his brother. However, in her warped version of the facts, Gabrielle told Steve that Max had seduced her! Angry at his brother and fed up with Gabrielle, Steve demanded a divorce.

After reconciling with her mother, Lee Halpern, Mari Lynn accidentally shot and killed her. Mari Lynn was actually trying to save Lee from an attack by Donald Lamarr, Lee�s former lover. Mari Lynn was indicted for murder, but when Lamarr was exposed, she was set free. Upon coming out of that ordeal, Mari Lynn married Wade Coleman.
