Max and Tina landed in Italy in search of her baby.

The year begin with Tina desperately wanting to get her miracle baby, Milagro, back! The child had been plucked away from the Iguazu Indians by Max�s enemy, the evil Rolo, who demanded a million dollars for the baby�s safe return. Max captured Rolo, but his accomplice, Lita, had spirited the baby to Italy. Tina and Max followed in hot pursuit. The two eventually rescued the baby in a convent. Back home, Tina introduced �Milagro� to his father, Cord. In honor of Clint, they renamed the child Clinton James Roberts, �CJ� for short.

While reciting vows to become Max�s wife, Tina absent-mindedly blurted out �I take thee, Cord.� When a mortified Max heard Tina�s blunder, he immediately called off their wedding on the spot! In the aftermath of the ordeal, Tina once again set her sights on Cord�who was now dating Sarah Gordon. Though it took some time, sexpot Tina would ultimately prevailed.

Clint entered a grueling 100-mile horse race through the Arizona desert, determined to show everyone that he could overcome his handicap. Clint was unaware that George Vasquez, Maria�s vengeful brother, had spiked his horse�s feed with asthma medication, which turned the normally obedient stallion violent! The drugged horse threw Clint, who fell to the dusty ground, hit his head on a rock and lost consciousness.

When Clint awoke, he groggily realized that his vision had returned�while discovering that he had been inexplicably transported back 100 years in time to an old west town called Buchanan City. Clint had somehow slipped back in time, and landed in the home of his wild west ancestors!
