LKS LODZ HOOLS

LKS LODZ HOOLIGANS IN 2003

For almost all home games we organized very spectacular ultras displays about which you can read in another article. We wanted to create a good atmosphere surrounding the home games so many people would show up. Besides that we wanted to avoid severe penalties for fights on our stadium. There were only two confrontations in the stands that season. The first took place after the game with GKS Belchatow, couple of lads got into the GKS sector, in which there was a group of eighty five fans. All of them ran away. The second clash occurred during the game with Pogon Szczecin. About thirty lads ran into their sector in which there was a group of thirty eight fans of Pogon and Legia Warsaw. Just a few of them stood up and fought the others simply escaped from the stadium.

In August forty lads attacked a group of thirty Widzew fans which gathered in one of the neighborhoods - Zabieniec. Both groups had weapons. After a short confrontation they ran away, a few of them who did not manage to escape and were badly beaten. Seven of their cars were demolished.

Eighty lads of LKS Lodz and fifty of GKS Tychy were present at the game Poland vs. Sweden. Right after the game twenty of LKS fans drove back home wile the rest decided to party in the city of Tychy. On their way back home approximately hundred kilometers from the city of Chorzow a group of Widzew and Ruch Chorzow hooligans had been waiting. This group was two times bigger then our (60 hooligans) besides that all of them had metal poles. Just a few of us had brass knuckles the rest bare hands. In spite of these we decided to fight. This time we lost. As a result of this confrontation a number of us had been badly injured, three of them had to be hospitalized. On the other side at least a couple of opponents were wounded. Those of us that remained on the war field were tortured. Widzews lads demolished our vehicle, that is a bus, a mini bus and a car.

A month later we wanted to get even. We decided to wait for Widzews lads which were going to the game with Gornik Zabrze about twenty five kilometers outside the city of Lodz. There were fifty of us. Our enemy was informed about our location and promised to stop and fight. They traveled in two buses, about hundred of them. When the buses approached our group the passengers turned their backs on us and pretended they did not see us. The buses simply passed by us.

On August 22 we decided to clash with Widzews lads that were coming back from their away game with Dyskobolia Grodzisk. Everything took place in a town of Aleksandrow near the city of Lodz. Our group consisted of fifty five lads. Most of us had wooden sticks. Our enemy traveled in two buses and few cars. There were over hundred of them. All had some sort of a weapon. Once Widzews lads got out of the buses we attacked them. The initial clash did not last long. After just a few moments on both sides there were injured lads, at least twenty. The participants of this battle say that injured enemy man was quickly replaced by the next. Some of the wounded men managed to leave the battle scene, however many badly injured simply laid in agony. After a few moments there were about thirty of us, we were outnumbered. For this reason we decided to back out. This time Widzews hoodlums did not torture those that remained on the battle field.

In the final analysis of the year 2003 we have to admit that Widzews lads were better than us. Even though we lost few fights to our local enemy we are still considered one of the best fans in Poland. Our enemies admire our courage to fight even when we are outnumbered.

12.05.2001 Widzew vs LKS Lodz

The day Widzew supporters were going to see their away game in the city of Wodzislaw we were waiting for them on a high way about 25 kilometers from Lodz. Our group consisted of 26 lads (six cars). They were traveling on two buses (about 100 fans). Once they saw us they stopped the bus a few hundred meters away in order to fight. After a while a short fight broke out. As a result of the fight a few Widzew's lads were badly beaten while the rest managed to escape. One of us was hit with a sharp object. None of us had any sharp objects however we had wooden bats. Some of the Widzew supporters escaped into the meadows and forest while the rest trample going back into the buses. Then we decided to get back to our cars. On the way back to the cars we noticed some widzew's supporters going in our direction. Initially we thought that they would like to fight again but it was only illusion. They reconciled with their lose. Therefore we got in our cars and not bothered drove away.

On Friday the thirteen of September 2000, three weeks after our last visit, we decided to interrupt the meeting of rts widzew lads. This time there was 47 of us. Like the last time we took a trolley to the intersection of Niciarniana and Pilsudskiego (intersection near the place where widzew lads were suppose to held their meeting). Across the street near the stadium we spotted a group of 50 widzew lads. The distance between them and us was quiet large, therefore they had time to think what to do. First they took out their armory (knives, clubs, chains etc.) and next approached the trolley tracks to gather rocks. While they were picking up the rocks we entered the street and began running toward the enemy. When the distance between the two groups was only a few meters they began throwing rocks they just picked up. We also had thrown a few rocks at them. Soon both groups were tied together and fighting. One of the widzew hooligans who was up front was badly beaten. After a while of fighting the hosts of this meeting that is widzew fans run away. Three of widzew lads did not manage to escape and were badly injured. Two of them were hospitalized after they had been hit with knives. The third also needed medical attention because of his head wounds, which had to be closed with stitches. There was some damage on our side too. Two of our friends had been hit in heads. Some of widzew lads who managed to run away found safety on the roofs of nearby shacks. Once we noticed them on the roofs we charged at them immediately. As a result of our attack they had to abandon the roofs and keep running away. After they escape from the roofs two of them stopped and from faraway were screaming "fu... LKS". After that incident we spotted a group of six widzew lads that came out of alley. Once they saw us they made a hundred eighty degree turn and started running. At this moment we decided to split into a few small groups and head back home. On the way back home one of our groups encountered three of widzew lads, and chased them for a couple of kilometers hoping they would stop and fight. In conclusions I would like say that widzew lads confirmed that they have a strong bond with rocks. They can handle them well especially when their enemy is at some distance. Besides throwing rocks they can run really quickly. In my opinion they should become track and field athletes.

07.10.2000 Poland vs. Belorussian Republic

Our fighting squad consisted of 100 hooligans from LKS Lodz, 50 GKS Tychy, 3 Resovia Rzeszow, and 1 from Zawisza Bydgoszcz. About an hour before the game we came up on a trolley to the intersection of Niciarniana and Pilsudskiego (intersection near the stadium where the game took place) where we got off. When we saw Jews (widzew hooligans) immediately we tried to assault them, however policemen that were standing there started shooting to us with rubber bullets. Once the cops got back and moved near the stadium, our squad started crossing the intersection. At that moment very large gang of Jewish hooligans run up to the intersection. This group was immediately crashed. Some of them run away to the near park and some came back under the stadium. At least one jew was injured. After that incident we started walking along Pilsudskiego Street toward the stadium. Under the stadium we spotted a large group of fans that was accompanied by police. At some point cops started beating this group with clubs. It lasted a few minutes and next it was quiet. After passing this group we ran onto the street and attacked entire Coalition (see explanation below). A large amount of stones had been thrown at us. Besides that from the side some hooligans from Legia and Lechia charged at us. There were over 500 hools from Coalition under the stadium. We had to step back all the way to the park. Coalition with jews followed us. Running through the park we stopped several times in order to fight however we were outnumbered. Once we got to the train tracks we launched another counterattack. This fight lasted much longer. However after a while we had to withdraw again. One of us, a lad from GKS Tychy, was caught by enemy and badly beaten. Then we crossed the railroad tracks and got on the trolley in order to go back to the stadium and attack again. On the next stop police charged into the first cart and apprehended many of us. First they handcuffed us and then beat up with clubs. Those in the other carts had to evacuate.

"Coalition" in polish "Koalicja" is a group made up of Legia Warsaw, Zaglebie Sosnowiec, Lechia Gdansk, Widzew, Slask Wroclaw, Pogon Szczecin, Wisla Krakow and a several small clubs. A few years ago they decided not fight among themselves during polish national football team games and help each other in fights with other lads.

" Three" in polish "Trojca" or "Triada" - Lech Poznan, Arka Gdynia, Cracovia Krakow, and a several small clubs. The Triada is a big enemy of Coalition.

LKS LODZ is outside this two big groups. Coalition and Three are our enemies.

19.07.2000, Dolcan Zabki vs. LKS Lodz, League Cup

(Legia Warsaw vs. LKS Lodz)

Zabki is a town located near Warsaw. Legia Warsaw supporters are one of our biggest enemies.
The main group that consisted of 40 fans took the train to Warsaw. Warsaw we reached without the police escort. In Warsaw we had to transfer for the bus that would take us to Zabki. After getting off the train we were very alert, but we did not encounter any police or Legias hooligans. Without any incident we reached Zabki. 48 LKS LODZ supporters were present at the game. Right after half time a Legia lad from the group called Teddy Boys came up to us and proposed a fight. We accepted his proposition and soon left the stadium. Police escorted us together with a few Legia supporters to the bus station in Zabki. Once we reached Warsaw we split into two groups. One went to the railroad station and the other took a trolley with Legia supporters. They took us to a small school playground fenced from all sides, where we met other Legia hooligans. Those Legia supporters who accompanied us to that point were asked to leave by 2 main lads with whom we decided not to kick those who end up on the ground and if some one wants to quit has to say so. About twenty minutes later Teddy Boys group appeared. All of them were puffed up. Soon two rival groups, each consisting of 19 hooligans faced each other. At the beginning we were holding up pretty good but after a while some of us quit. After a minute the fight was over, the host group won. Legias hooligans admitted that we were the first in Poland that decided to fight with them in Warsaw. We talked for a while thanked them for the fight and headed back to the railroad station. At the station we met with other LKS supporters. While waiting for the train a Legia lad who witnessed the fight approached us and said that we fought with Legias best group.

08.06.2000, LKS Lodz vs. Widzew

That day 53 of Destroyers drop in on our gathering. The sticks they brought with them were simply enormous. Most of them wore ski masks and had bricks. They approached us from the guest sectors of the stadium. The clash occurred near the main entrance to the sport hall, which as a result of the fight lost all the windows. Initially we stood up to the enemy, which was not easy because we could only count on our boxing abilities. About twenty of us remained, the rest escaped. At that time there was a volleyball tournament played in the hall, as a result of the attack windshields were smashed in the cars parked near by. Destroyers ran along the hall toward the gate to the stadium. When they were on the other side, a few of us who backed up first time attacked them. A short fight took place at the gate. Attackers ran to the near train station leaving some of their weapons. As a result of the attack there was some damage on our side. A few of us had their heads smashed, one had broken hand, one had broken nose. Besides that there was plenty of bruises and cuts. The doctors present at the tournament helped wounded hooligans. One jew whose face was cut with a knife received twelve stitches.

13.05.2000, Ruch Radzionkow vs. Widzew

(Widzew vs. LKS Lodz)

19 LKS hooligans went to Widzew in order to attack jews that were coming back from the game in Radzionkow. When 20 jews got off the train we immediately attacked them. They did not stand up, but ran away immediately. However some of them did not manage to escape. Two were badly beaten and the third wounded after being hit with a knife. Those that escaped found safety in a near bar. Soon windows were broken, but we could not get inside because they blocked the door. After a while we decided to split. Some of us headed toward the bus and others to their car. Once jews saw us leaving they came out and ran up to the bus. Our hooligans attacked again. One of the jews was hit with a chopper. Unfortunately two of our hooligans got hit with a stone from a close distance. Then we had to evacuate because sirens of police cars could have been heard. On the way back we passed by 9 police cars that were driving in opposite direction than us. That was our victory.

13.05.2000, LKS Lodz - Lech Poznan

(34kB)

About 800 of Lech supporters came on a special train from the city of Poznan. On the train station in Lodz there was waiting for them a group of LKS Lodz and GKS Tychy hooligans. Once the train entered the station a number of stones were thrown, a few windows had been broken. Later on the platform police started beating a guy, he was probably Lech supporter. Approximately 40 lads run to stop police and save him. Police started fighting with them; one of the cops was hit with a knife, other with a brick, and an axe. Two cops got wounded; one of LKS lad had been apprehended. It was awesome; a cop was lying on the ground for about twenty minutes he did not move. Pol ice took pictures of axe and knife just like in crime scene cases seen on TV. We thought he got killed.

To this game came about 20 GKS Tychy, 2 Resovia, and 1 Zawisza fan. Lech supporters did not put up any flag on the fence. Right before the end of the first half about 200 lads left the stadium because somebody said he had seen our opponents. They clashed with police which backed up for help. Antiterrorist squad helped police; they started shooting at us with rubber bullets. We hide behind portable toilets and throw stones at them; also lads that remained at the stadium started tossing stones. One of LKS supporter got hit in a chest. Soon a police captain tells them to stop and back out he actually said: Lets leave because they will never stop. While we were fighting, Lech lads were cursing police. Once the fight ended they put our flag Crazy Cannibals we immediately attacked them in order to get it back.

16.10.1999, Lech Poznan vs. LKS Lodz

From the railroad station, Lodz Kaliska, at 10:24 am a group of over 100 LKS hooligans took the train to Ostrow Wlk. We traveled alone without the police escort. In Pabianice about 10 other hooligans joined our group and there was about 115 of us. In Ostrow Wlk we waited for about two hours for the train to Poznan. Local Lech fan club proposed 10 on 10 fights. Since we had very good squad we decided that only youngsters would fight. After first two fights won by LKS hooligans Lech from Ostrow Wlk came to conclusion that we are better and did not want to fight anymore. Finally the anticipated train entered the station. We bribed the conductor so we would not have to buy tickets. On the railroad station in Jarocin we beat local Lech fan club. After the fight one of the Lech hooligans was unconscious for a long while. We let the other Lech supporters to revitalize him. After five minutes ambulance arrived and after another few police showed up. During that incident we got five Lech Poznan scarves and three Lech hooligans had to be taken to the hospital. Finally we reached the city of Poznan. On the train station in Poznan there was a lot of policemen waiting for our arrival. Many policemen pointed their guns at us besides that we were filmed. Once we got off the train police had written down our names and took us to other platform. After half an hour we were told that we are going back to Lodz. Once we got on the train back to Lodz police started beating us. They had thrown tear gas into our train cars and tried to beat us with clubs. We responded to that with our fists and legs. Finally policemen locked themselves in their train compartment because they could not handle us. One of them lost his hat. We constantly made fun of them and called them names. Only 6 supporters who drove a car reached the stadium. They entered the stadium and put up their flags on the fence. At some point Lech supporters entered the ground and managed to rip off one of the flags CRAZY CANNIBALS. Security guards did not respond and even one of them stole a bag, in which there were two flags, one with saying BRYGADA SRODMIESCIE and the other plain in club colors. Then he took both flags to Lech supporters, which behaved unfair accepting both flags from the guard. In conclusion we would like to say that this was very good trip. We regret that we were not able to watch the game and lost flags, but we cannot do anything about the arrangement between Lech supporters and security guards.

27.10.1999 LKS Lodz - Widzew Lodz

In November 1999 we had a big riots with police. Before the game LKS LODZ - Widzew we attacked the police patrol and we slaughted 4 of them. We used knives to kill them but cops was "only" hard injured and they had to go to the hospital.
During the game we fought with police. 300 chairs was demolished! After this events LKS stadium was cloused and next game we had to play without spectators! PHOTOS It was our the biggest fight in 1999. By the way it was the most famous riot in Poland in 1999.

02.07.1999 LKS LODZ vs. Widzew

That was the biggest and most notorious fight between lads of LKS and Widzew in the 90s. Leaders of the two groups decided to fight in the neutral location without any weapons just fist and legs. Up to now we were fighting on the streets, stadiums, trains etc. without any rules and mercy. For the first time of our war we set the date, location and regulations. That was the second fight in Poland that was planed ahead. The first one happened in 1998 between hooligans of Lechia Gdansk and Arka Gdynia.

About an hour before the fight we gathered near our stadium, there were 68 of us. From there we drove to the park near Widzews stadium. It should be pointed that this is our opponent terrain and this location was picked by them, we agreed confident of our strength. When we got to the park two police cars approached our group, they tried to make us go back. However we ignored them, they followed us. Finally we noticed our enemy group which was similar in size to our, they also had been followed by two police cars. Presence of police did not change our plans. First Widzew lads tossed few stones. Soon we were fighting for good. One of the opponents was knocked unconscious. Widzews lads drew back and attacked again. This time some of them had in their hands belts with buckles. In the second clash we were better than our enemy. However there were some l osses on our side as well, one of us got wounded in a head. Some Widzews lads ran away on the other side of train tracks and the rest to the train station. We decided to chase them and were able to catch few. They were badly beaten. Those that managed to run away were looking at us at a safe distance. We cheered for a while. Entire fight lasted few minutes; afterwards we had to leave the place so police would not apprehend anybody. Some of us decided to go through the park and the rest between houses. Soon over ten police cruisers arrived; one of the policemen was running with a pistol in his hand looking for us.

17.10.1998 Widzew - Stomil Olsztyn

As we all know, we the fans from "Galera" had a big dilemma. Our friends from Olsztyn were coming to d for a game with Widzew, but at the same time we had an away game in nearby Belchatow. After the with Katowice, we decided not to go on away games of our team, as it was written in "Fan lsk". Not everybody acknowledged that and there were fans of KS during that game. I do not know how the other fans will react on our dualism and lack of unity. So we the fans of KS that stayed in d, met up at "Karol's" in order to meet up with our friends from Warmia. Before they came we selected special hools group, wich was to fight Widzew near their stadium at Judenstrasse. 6 friends from Stomil were added to a group of 50 KS hools, and with such group we went into action. Our journey was planned. We set out in Retkinia and not bothered by police drove to a getto. We passed stop near the stadium and came from behind. Widzew fans in the bus had a little shock, but that was just a beginning. After the exit we passed few blocks and dropped on some police units, but they, being really twisted-minded, took us for Widzew fans! On a mark we dropped our white-red-white terrorist hats, and screaming KS run to ticket gates. At the beginning they attacked us, but we seeing that set out even faster. All of the Widzew hools (over 200 lads) started evacuating themselves. They run straight on the Widzew supporters sector "under the clock". People standing there just look how KS is beating their brothers. Police was so out of there, that they reacted when everything was over, and we were already near the gates for away fans. Pushovers ended with police taking in one of the Widzew fans, who was a star of Bravo magazine - vel abdzia- from kidestroyes. Our fan went to protect him, but he was taken by the police too. (All hooligans fuck the police). Thanx to the cell communication we called in some cabs and withdrew from the ghetto to the center of Lodz.

05.02.1997 LKS LODZ vs. Widzew

That day suppose to take place a friendly game between our team and Petrochemia Plock (back then lads of Widzew and Petrochemia were good friends), however the game was cancelled few hours before.

Expecting Widzew and Petrochemia lads we gathered in a bar located in one of the boroughs - Retkinia. There were 50 maybe 60 of us. All of the sudden somebody said that had seen a bus full with Widzew lads. We decided to go and meet our enemy. Once they noticed us they started running toward us screaming Destroyers. For a moment we stood unsure what to do but soon we started running toward them yelling LKS - AVID FOR BLOOD! Soon they started running away, one of them was caught and badly beaten, and he was even hit with a knife in back. After a short run they stopped and picked up some sticks. Once we approached them a few second fight took place, however they started escaping again. Some of them were caught and beat up; one got hit with a knife in leg. At that moment police started arriving, therefore we decided to stop chasing them and hide away, so only a few of us would get arrested. In the final analysis that was the most notorious fight of the winter. Later Widzew lads were explaining that 60 percent of them did not fight before and were really young.
