Evaluation
Each component of this project will be individually graded, and you will receive a grade sheet with your individual point breakdown.  EXPECT THAT YOU MAY GET A DIFFERENT GRADE THAN YOUR GROUP MEMBERS. To view grade sheet, click here. To view project rubric, click here.

PART I: Each definition is worth five points a piece to equal of total of 10 points.  I am looking for quality definitions that answer all of the questions listed under Process, but also, I may ask you questions that will clarify your definition to me. You will hand this in to me typed up, but I will ask any group member questions, so you must all be ready to talk.

PART II: Information from each of the three categories, i.e. Koraes, your high school, and cheating investigation, are each worth 10 points, equalling a total of 30 points.  Again, I am looking for relevant facts presented typed.  I will be asking group members questions, so be ready.

PART III: This part is extremely important as this will be the information you cite in your presentation materials.  I will be reviewing your NOTES, but that does not mean that things should not be neat.  I expect to see a page of notes from each group member.

Each note page should list:
1) Website used and date of access
2) Important information that you read and SUMMARIZED from the website. I can tell when you have copied information.
EXPECT TO FILL
AT LEAST ONE SIDE OF A PAGE OF LOOSELEAF PAPER.

THIS PIECE IS WORTH
30 points.

PART IV: Presentation Component: Either presentation (i.e. PowerPoint or brochure) must contain the information that your group has gathered from the first three parts.  Therefore, you must have a section with information from Parts I, II, and III.

PowerPoint:
1) Must be 7 slides, which include a title slide and a works cited slide.
2) Each slide must have a relevant picture AND phrases - not sentences. 3) Each slide must have correct grammar and spelling.
4) You must not have distracting effects, sounds or transitions.

SEE
PRESENTATION EVALUATION SHEET FOR FURTHER TIPS ON HOW TO PRESENT YOUR POWERPOINT. I will be evaluating you using these guidelines.

PowerPoint is worth 50 points. Presentation is worth 10 points.

Brochure:

1) Must be a trifold brochure design.  Every side of this brochure needs to have information or graphics on it.
2) Make sure that you have a cover design for the front of the brochure and a works cited panel on the back.
3) Brochure must be folded correctly.
4) Everything must be spelled correctly.

Brochure is worth 60 points.

Self-Checklist for Plagiarism:

You will then create your own self checklist for plagiarism.  This self checklist must contain at least 20 specific items that you will need to help you determine what plagiarism is.  This sheet needs to be numbered and specificially in either question or statement format.
Example: 1) Does my paper cite sources?

This piece is worth 20 points.

FINALLY YOU WILL EVALUATE YOUR WORK AS A GROUP AND AS AN INDIVIDUAL.  EACH SHEET WILL BE WORTH TEN POINTS.
Ex: I did: the brochure, the research for Part I, etc.

Group evaluation:10 points: You will simply list each member what you think each group member did and contributed. Be honest.

Self evaluation: 10 points. You will simply list what you did and contributed. Be honest.
