| SPEEDRIFFS is a program containing a huge amount of riffs and cord progressions that you'll use to improve your playing and increase speed, timing, and accuracy A friend told me about this new program he found for guitarists called Powertabs. As soon as I installed it, I was amazed with what it does. It plays tab! Not just any tab...the tab to all of my favorite guitar work online (see the links page for a list of some of the best ones I found) Then I saw the best thing...you type in your own notes, and it plays them back ! The possibilities are endless. I Started out by making up my own riffs, and writing songs. Then I realized that I could now store all my own playing(so I don't forget the great stuff I'd stumble across as I was practicing) The next thing I started doing is jamming with myself. I'd lay down a cord progression and let it keep repeating, and I'd play right along with myself....soloing...doing harmonies...following my cord progressions...etc. |
