LETTER

December 2004

Merry Christmas from Florida!

We hope you've had the merriest Christmas season ever. We spent the Christmas holidays down here in mild winter weather, but hope you are warm and snug in your homes.

I'm afraid we don't have a beach snapshot or traditional summary letter for you right now. (For you Texans, the beach family photograph is as standard as the kids-in-the-bluebells shot.)

You are welcome to visit our e-Scrapbook pages and Letters to see what we've been up to this year. I have 3 new e-Scrapbook pages about Thanksgiving in Georgia, and the visits from Melanie and Sam Jarvis and Mom and Dad Eyring.

These snapshots are of homes in Palm Beach Heights, famous for Christmas decorations. Pictured at the top, the big-daddy of all palms, lighted Canary Island date palms. In the middle, our favorite pick: a blue house with pink flamingos. At bottom, an "everything" house.

Some streets are candy cane lanes; some have large lighted arches over the roads. I admit I have never seen so many blow-up lawn ornaments in my life. We drove down each street with the windows down and our radio playing Christmas songs; it sure was fun!

We love you all. God bless us, everyone.
