On Zoni you do not get sick unless you are old, and you do not become old until you have children and all of your children become 16 Earth years old. The Zonian race does not participate in warfare, so very few of them die for reasons other than old age or criminal activities.
On Zoni the years are different from Earth's because Zoni and Earth are in two different time continuums and therefore 2 years on Zoni is a day on Earth. So if I say 16 Earth years I mean 11,680 years on Zoni. It is just easier to understand Earth years, so that will be the accepted standard.
