Molly's Story
"I love life, really I do."
- Molly Anne Bish
Molly Anne Bish was a typical 16 year-old from a small New England town.  However, everything changed for
her family on the morning of June 27, 2000.  Magi Bish dropped her daughter off at Comins Pond in
Warren, Massachusetts for her summer job as a lifeguard just as she had the day before.  However, when the
first swimmers arrived at the pond about a half-hour later, Molly Anne Bish was nowhere to be seen.
The swimmers found Molly's sandals, towel, lunch, police radio, and first-aid kit neatly lined up by her chair
on the beach.  A massive search of the area around Comins Pond and the town of Warren included local
and state police, firefighters, divers, horses, helicopters, and police dogs, but there were no signs of the missing
lifeguard.  It was as if Molly had "vanished into thin air".
Even after
"missing person" posters of the lifeguard and a police sketch of a possible suspect were posted all
over Massachusetts, few clues remain about what happened at Comins Pond the morning Molly disappeared.
All Molly's parents' know is that their teenage daughter reported for lifeguard duty on a beautiful summer
morning and hadn't been seen or heard from since.  Police continue to try to identify and locate the man in the
police sketch that was completed with the cooperation of Molly's mother.  She had seen the man sitting in a
white vehicle in the Comins Pond parking lot the morning before her youngest daughter disappeared.
However, as of yet authorities have not been able to locate the "mystery man" for questioning.
On June 9, 2003, the extensive search for Molly came to a sad end in the nearby town of Palmer,
Massachusetts.  Although the search for Molly has ended, the search for the person(s) who brought her to this
peril is still very much alive.  Molly's family is confident that law enforcement will find the person(s)
responsible for taking their beautiful "Tigger-girl" away from them.
A reward of $100,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest & conviction of the person(s)
responsible for Molly's abduction and murder.  As of yet, according to the Worcester County District Attorney,  the posting of the reward hasn't yielded any significant leads in the case of Molly Anne Bish.
