Cheer for me

It caught me by surprise,

As I opened up the picture and stared into your beautiful eyes,

It reminded me of those days when we use to socialize,

And I watched you from afar and idolized.

Yes you were good because you worked with the best,

Seeing you every weekend made us all feel blessed,

For another to match your pretty smile, there was simply no contest,

As you sported those colors of Orange and Blue across your chest.

I couldn't wait till game time to see you cheer,

The crowd would go wild every time you were near,

Not that I was looking but you have such a lovely rear,

That would shake with such force that it would slowly bring a tear.

Oh how we love those cheerleaders of V-State,

Whether it were fifteen or simply eight,

Girl you were one of my favorites, hands down with no debate,

But I was to shy to tell you...for me it was hard to articulate,

As I listened to the brothers that wished that they could simply go out on a date

With a sexy little Woo-Woo like yourself, oh that sounded great.

Girl I must simply confess,

That you looked good in casual dress,

When you and the crew would dress to impress,

And strut around the coliseum with class and finesse.

Yes I remember it like it was yesterday,

Those days of jokes and casual play,

I sorely missed my chance to simply say,

You were my favorite cheerleader that I wanted to see each and every day.

Though it may seem too late,

I am glad that our friendship did not terminate,

For it may be silly fate,

That we refresh our friendship and regenerate,

Those feelings for you that I had when we were at good old state.
