![]() Missy is the cat I bought from a mall petstore in Danville, Virginia. I would like to say thank you so very much to whoever did not want this cat. I am glad that you didn't want her, because we do! When I saw Missy in that petstore, I knew she was my cat. There was no doubt about it, she wanted to go home with me that day. I really was not supposed to have pets at this point in time, but living in a small depressing town such as Yanceyville, North Carolina, you almost need to depend on something like a pet to keep you from delving into an extremely deep depression. Needless to say, I ignored my parents requests for me to not purchase or take in any animals and I rescued her from that petstore. She lived with me in my small apartment for several months until we moved back to Raleigh to live with my parents. At this point, Missy was only about 5 or 6 months old. Apparently, she had gone into heat and decided to go off and mate on day, because she was gone for about a week and came back pregnant. This is where I acquired my two other cats. Missy does not like other cats at all. About three months after she gave birth to those cats, she began to fight with them if they came anywhere near her.
