Liz Winfrey's CatsMy name is Liz Winfrey and I currently have four wonderful cats.I had only one cat for several years. His name is Sam. I moved to a small town and because I was lonely, I bought another cat. Her name is Missy. Shortly after I moved back in with my parents, Missy got pregnant and gave birth to four kittens. I did not think a five month old cat could get pregnant, but I was wrong. I gave two of the kittens to my aunt and uncle who live outside of Atlanta, Georgia. I kept two of Missy's kittens. Their names are Smudge and Dusty. We have a large yard, so most of the cats stay right around the house, but two of the cats (Dusty and Missy) are often gone for days at a time. In February of 2001, Missy disapeared for 28 days and finally came back in poor health. When we took her to the vet he told us she looked as if she had been walking a long distance. We believe she might have climbed into a dump truck in a nearby construction zone and was carried off far away. We just thank god she found her home. The Georgia CatsWhen the kittens were about two months old, my aunt and uncle, Buddyand Maria, came with their two daughters, Eleanor and Emily, to pick up the two other kittens. I cried so hard when I had to let Dewey and Chloe leave with them. I knew it would be a long time until I could see them again. Sure enough, it was well into the summer before I saw those two again. I made sure to take pictures, click on a link in the list below to see these two cats.
