Folk speech
Naming:

"ghetto" Wendy's. A 24-hr. Wendy's fast-food place down Arkadelphia a few miles not too far off campus. It's connected to a gas station and is refered to as a truck stop by the students. Most people are afraid to go by themselves at night because it is not in a safe area, hence the term "ghetto wendy's".

"B.S." College. People who are less than pleased with the college as a whole use this term, with an emphasis on the "B.S."

Athletic taunting: Very few students attend the home basketball games on a regular basis. The school pep band supplies most of the spirit and energy for the game, not only by playing the music as instructed, but also by taunting specific players (usually two) on the opposing team. Any team member who makes a bad mistake is dubbed "no game" and anyone who throws an air ball is named, appropriately, "air ball." Whenever the ball is passed to one of these players, the chanting begins.
