1- Use the pencil tool in the color of you choice and draw the starting of your wings, form then, keep making rows of feather like oval shaped 'things'......make sure you don't have any gaps.
2- Keep making the 'feather things' without any gaps or holes. Remember, it's alright if their a little messy, I did these with my right hand, and I'm left handed....so its alright we're gonna clean em up in a little bit.....
3- Make a few more rows, lalalala, this is the boring part, and kind of tiring, your eyes might feel sleepy, but don't stop now, it'll be beautiful!
4- Make the last rows.....finnally your done, with that part lol :)
The last rows dhould curve in more, and grow smaller towards the bottom....
5- Here is the most time consuming part, its also the hardest and most boring! Don't give up though...the pay off is big! Scroll over the pic to see the before and after...Beautifully Awsome!
6- Wow! Told you it took a lot, now fill in all of the feathers with your lightest color.....mine was white.....
7- Now for the shading, use the burn and dodge tools to and shadows and highlights to your feathers....FINALLY your DONE!!!!
(see the pics for with and without HLs)
