�I�ve done a lot and experienced life this year, so I guess what this year had meant to me is the acquisition of experience and knowledge.�
Album of the year?
�I can�t answer definitively, but I really like the �Red Hot Chili Peppers� �Californication� and also the latest Moby album, �Play�.�
Film of the year?
�I didn�t see too many films this year because I�ve been touring a lot, but I liked �The Sixth Sense�, just because the ending completely freaked me out. �Son Of Sam� was pretty cool too, because I�m totally fascinated with serial killers.�
Person of the year?
�I don�t really thing that anybody has done anything important enough in 1999 to be recognised as person of the year, so I don�t think there is one.�
Wanker of the year?
�There are far too many to mention, but I especially don�t like politicians. Politicians are just fools who lie, and that�s what makes them wankers. I don�t know about the European parliaments, but Americawise, I�m not at all happy with our government and the majority of things that have been happening.�
This year I have mostly been drinking�
�A lot of Jack and Coke, which I used to hate, but touring with our ex-tech Linus got me into it. I�m not a heavy drinker, but I do like Baileys on the rocks at night.�
Who was the sexiest person you met this year?
�I me t a lot of sexy people this year � I can�t pick out which one is the sexiest because I don�t want to make anyone unhappy. None of them are actresses or the big old stars that everybody thinks I�m gonna say, they�re actually normal people. There�s one person I�ve met who I personally think is the sexiest, and she know who she is.�
Who was the biggest tosser you me this year?
�I met this guy at a show, and although I don�t wanna knock our fans he was pretty much an idiot. He was asking me to spank his wife, and that to me is pretty much the behaviour of a tosser. Because where I come from you have to respect your woman and you don�t ask anyone � whatever you think of him or whoever he is � to spank your wife.�
Where did you go on holiday this year?
�My holiday has been going home from touring. It�s only been about a month, but I�ve really enjoyed being home. The more I�ve been away, the more I�ve come to cherish my family, my friends and my home. I�ve finally realised the true value of those things, and that�s been very important to me this year.�
Personal high point of 1999?
�I�ve met a lot of people that I look up to. I met Jimmy Page at the Kerrang! Awards, and having my picture taken with him was a high point in my life. I�ve hung out with Ozzy Osbourne a couple of times, as well as Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley from Kiss. A lot of the shows we�ve played this year, both big and small, have been high points in my life.�
Personal high point of 1999?
�If you asked me the low point of my decade, it was my gradma passing away. She was like my Mom, and I think that was low point of my life. Knock on wood, I haven�t had too many deaths in my life. Knock on wood, I haven�t had too many deaths in my family, but when that happened it very nearly killed me.�
Best band you�ve seen all year?
�Black Sabbath. Even thought I would have preferred to have seen them back when I was 18, at least I finally got to see them.�
Best song you wrote this year?
�It�s not for System, because I haven�t brought in a lot of system stuff yet. But I wrote this song at home, which I have in my head. It doesn�t have a name or anything and I can�t really explain it to you, but to me it�s the best. I don�t write complete songs like Daron (Malakian, System guitarist): I just write parts of songs and arrange them in my head whenever I think of them.�
