INTRODUCTION TO CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY (FOR NON-THERAPISTS) - Sunday, October 21st, 11:15 - 4:15
For those of you who are interested in hands-on healing, or specifically craniosacral therapy, and even those who have attended the Intro to Cranio workshop before, this will be a chance to get deeper IN TOUCH with the healing gift we all have within us. You don't have to have any therapeutic background to attend this workshop - all that's needed is your presence and open mind.
About the workshop:
Being heard and touched are human's most basic needs. In the Listening - both through the ears and the hands lies the power to heal and be healed. Such is the basis for Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy - a powerful, yet non-invasive hands-on therapy that is on the cutting edge of today's holistic medicine. We all have the healing gift within us; we just need a way to connect with it! Join us for a workshop that will put you "in touch" with your listening skills as a way to help yourself and your loved ones.
Since this workshop is about healing through listening, we'll spend most of our time in a relaxed, meditative state. It will include interactive discussion, theoretical principles, fun exercises on perception, meditation, and plenty of hands-on work.Craniosacral work is rooted in stillness, which is ever alive and dynamic; therefore, the teaching of this work is no different. Every craniosacral workshop is a joint practice of the students and the teacher.
If you have attended this workshop before, this will be a chance to re-fresh your understanding of cranio through the wisdom of your latest experiences, and to deepen your hands-on skills in the room full of craniosacral energy.
