The Popes who called for the Holy Crusades had it right, from Pope Urban II down to Pope St. Pius V who organized the Holy League that vanquished the vermin at Lepanto, and later popes and Christian heroes, such as John Sobieski, El Cid, Ferdinand and Isabella of Spain, etc. As St. Bernard of Clairvaux taught: "Pray as if everything depends on God, strike out with your stick as if everything depends on your arms!" You must know that Pride always belongs to the Devil, not to those who are of God, for those who are of God are humble, knowing their true place before the Majesty of God, not exalting themselves. Pride is the key by which Satan insinuates rebellion against God and His Truth and leads them by the nose to hell.
Since you have not referred to the supposed statement supposedly made by a Pope about Islam, and to which you are apparently objecting, we are unable to comment on it.
However, you should get your facts right. Christianity was not spread by the sword but by preaching. On the contrary, by and large, Islam has been spread by the sword. There are exceptions, of course. The Maldives, and most of the initial converts of South-East Asia were voluntary. Likewise, as an exception, Christianity was forced upon the American native tribes. However, in so acting, those men who abused the native tribes of the Americas acted not according to, but against the Christian gospel.
You are deluded when you claim that Christianity is shrinking and Islam spreading. This is but a fashion of the last decade or so, and like all passing fashions, it too will pass. Christianity has seen such crises come and go, and it has withstood them and continued to survive and thrive, and so it shall.
We have no intention of reading the Quran. We do not care to read the teachings of Satan, today or tomorrow.

- The human Christ is first God incarnate (made flesh or made human) and also, within that, a prophet. However, Christ as God existed without a human component as part of the Trinity of Divine Persons, which compose the Godhead, the others being the Father and the Holy Ghost. No Christian claims that Christ as Christ came to exist only when He was incarnated. He existed from all time. But His human component came to exist only from the time of His Incarnation in the womb of Mary, His biological human mother. As God, of course, Christ has neither a father nor a mother, in the strict biological sense.
- There was and is no such thing as a "previous god". God who had expressed Himself to Adam, to Enoch, to Noe, to Abraham, to Moses, to David, etc., is the same God of Whom, one person out of the three of the Triune God, incarnated as the human Jesus. Jesus Christ Himself asserted this against His enemies, saying, "Before Abraham was, I am!".
- Where and how did you arrive at the notion that God married Mary? Or that He has a sexual instinct? Christianity has never taught this. Christianity, on the contrary, teaches that even human beings taken into heaven no longer have any sex, unlike the fantastic nonsense taught by Muhammad the Sex Pervert in his Satanic concotion of "Islam", which is practically the eternal worship of sex and the degradation of women to an eternal object of sex and therefore not truly human!!!
- Christianity teaches that God, as God, cannot and did not die. However, in his human component aspect, Christ Jesus did suffer and did die. Moreover, this was necessary by the Will of God in order to expatiate (make up) for all the cumulative sins of all mankind from beginning to end, in order that God could forgive man and reconcile them to Himself. No mere man could claim so great a dignity or standing with God that he could pay the price in his own suffering and be accepted by God as such, and therefore, God Himself, in the Second Person became Incarnate with the specific purpose of suffering and expiating all the sins of all mankind, that they may be made acceptable before God. Yet, no one can become acceptable to God unless he comes to God through Christ, who alone has paid the price and is able to intercede as Theandros before God for man.

It comes as no surprise that the representative of the Roman tyrant civilisation (the pope) would hide behind other Christian tyrants to express what he really feels towards a greater religion (ISLAM) in comparison to a shrinking religion (Christianity). As a man of the Christian faith he must attack his rival even by using unethical tactics (Methods in which Christianity spread).
The great continent of Africa and the country of Andalusia even Coptic Egypt Christianity enslaved, raped and murdered to spread there so called peaceful religion and now they use new tactics of the devil SEDUCTION (benefits of conversion the carrot instead of the stick), while in Islam the sword did not rise over Africa but it spread through true belief. China is a great example of peaceful conversion, back at the times of the silk route when the Chinese traders where amazed by the honesty of there Islamic counterparts.
If we where to talk about religion and the mind then Christianity the fairytale religion that is mainly built on myth rather than on fact, I don't see how it can be compared with the religion of the Quran whose first verse is (Read).
Then again you say your religion is all about the mind please explain this:
- If Christ is a god not a prophet then who was god before he was born (we all know that the world did not start with the birth of Christ)
- What happened to the previous god?
- How can a god an invincible being that is immortal have an animal mortal Instinct like SEX (when you say god married the human lady Mary)?
- and if Christ is son of god how can a god die, how can the father god watch his son be murdered, how can a so called god like Christ allow his creatures to torture him thus loosing his respect ???????????
