She substitutes for absent Discussion Group Faciliators and, with them, prays for the individual members of the MOPS group. MOPS Mentor: A mom with older children who often teaches, schedules guest speakers, and encourages the Steering Team. The MOPS Mentor attends Steering Team meetings as an advisor, contributing ideas, but is not a voting member. She is a mentor to the MOPS women by being a listening ear, as women need her godly advice. MOPPETS Leader: Oversees the MOPPETS ministry, and recruits, trains and encourages MOPPETS staff. She selects classroom curriculum, shows caring concern to the MOPS moms about their children and communicates program policies. Prayer Leader: In charge of collecting prayer requests from MOPS Moms as well as Steering Team. Keeping all prayer requests updated and posted for members and Steering Team to pray over from meeting to meeting. Works closely with the Mentor Mom. Additional Positions or Co-Leaders may be added to our Steering Team as growth or special needs arise. In a situation where all Leadership roles are not filled we may ask current leaders to take on other responsibilities until a Leader is found for those positions.
