Covenant Care Service
Covenant care service is the humanitarian arm of the
Living Covenant World Outreach Ministries AKA Covenant Chapel.
It is a Christ center, non profit organization dedicated to
seeking the welfare of mankind through education, relief and
other humanitarian services as it is stated in 1 John 3:17 which
states "BUT WHOSO HATH THIS WORLD'S GOOD, AND SEETH
HIS BROTHER HAVE NEED AND SHUTTETH UP HIS BOWEL
OF COMPASSION FROM HIM, HOW DWELLETH THE LOVE OF
GOD IN HIM?"
This is our way of expressing our love to the needy and less
privileged among us. Until love is express by action, you've not
love yet because love is more acted than just saying by mouth.
You've to say it and do it. The Covenant care service is presently
focuses its services to over fifteen thousand(15,000) Liberians
refugees and several other orphanages here in Nigeria. The covenant
care services program is carried out through it educational and
relief program, known as Daniel Educational program and Joseph
Relief program.
Our programs are supported by individuals and churches of other
denominations. Presently, we're making SPECIAL APPEALS to
churches and individuals so as to meet our present goals. We're
running a scholarship program which covers the Liberian refugees
in Nigeria from primary, secondary and tertiary institutions.
We've Liberian refugees students on our scholarship program in
various institutions of learning here in Nigeria. We also run a skill
training program for war affected youths of the Liberian refugees
here in Nigeria. These youths cannot afford to go through normal
academic schooling because of the effect of the war in Liberia.
This skill training program is run by covenant care service and it
cover the period of six months. Covenant care service relief program
includes the distribution of food items and non food items such
as; cooking utensils, bedding materials, clothing and sanitation
materials to Liberian refugees.
Our present need is how to meet up with our scholarship program and
our skill training program. We're making a SPECIAL FINANCIAL
APPEAL to individuals and churches or other organizations to support
our program in meeting the educational needs of over six hundred(600)
Liberian refugees students and war affected youths of the Liberian war
here in Nigeria who're presently on our program.
