| Melissa Ronan, Helen Nelson, Clare & Laura Murphy after winning the Merseyside Cross Country Championships at Sherdley Park, St Helens, January 6th 2002. Liverpool Harriers amazingly filled 16 of the top 18 places in the race, including the first 8 girls to finish. Results. |
| The groups are coached by George Brean and Stan Roberts, who are helped during training sessions by a number of the parents (who usually bring up the rear of the group). Training is held throughout the year at Wavertree Athletics Centre, Liverpool, on Tuesday and Thursday at 6.15pm. |
