| Dead Superman: I don't know if you saw this on my site, but there was one guy named Peter who was leaving really bad messages in my guestbook. He really pissed me off. He said some pretty bad things. COLETTE: He said he goes to my school right? Yeah, um, we have a lot of haters at our school. Like I had a guy run up to me today and ask me stuff about Led Zeppelin. I had to answer all his questions because he was testing me to make sure we had all the right stuff on our site. And it's getting pathetic, you know? 'Cause there are guys at our school who are really mad at us. Like we were going to do this show at our school called Battle Of The Bands, and they were going to trash our equipment. We were just starting up and they said we sucked because we were girls. We still get that type of shit at school. They go on our site and start writing stuff, and I think that's really pathetic. I first heard the song on the soundtrack of Dude Where's My Car?, and I didn't really know who you were. Yeah, we still get that a lot. A lot of people don't know who we are. Has the success impacted your schooling? No actually, it hasn't. We're doing really good in school. We're actually missing two weeks of school because of the tour. But we went to all of our teachers who gave us all of the homework. Oh yeah? How did you find Shakespeare? Romeo And Juliet right? Yeah, it was good. I liked it, I got a lot out of it. I like Shakespeare. As you know, I had the cover for Seeing Red on the site weeks before it came out. No other LOR site had it, not even the official one. Did I do something illegal? Don't worry, we're not gonna sue ya. So what record company do you work under? Oh, we work under Warner Records and Her Royal Majesty Records. Because you're in the band, do more people come up to you in the halls at school and places like that? Yeah, actually people I've never talked to before in my life have started talking to me. I didn't really understand it till recently. 'Cause people would just come up to me and say, 'Hey Colette! I just saw your video!' And then I'm like, 'Right on! I don't know your name!' You know, people just go up to you and you don't know their names. But you know what? That's okay, because if they see your stuff then it's really good. It makes me happy when people say they like the song or they like the video. How did you first get signed? We were playing a song in a park and Riley (Brittin's older sister) invited Bif (Naked) out. Bif was crying because she liked it so much. And she was giving us all hugs and I guess she was really really happy. About a month later we were signed. And so it's gone really quickly. If anything like that were to happen here it would be a band like Zuckerbaby. Have you even heard of them? Has anybody? Yes I have! I like them! Let's get down to the nitty gritty here. As lots of guys are probably wondering, what's the relationship status with the four of you? Let's start off with Leah. You wanna know if she has a boyfriend? No, she doesn't. Alright! One down under 'single'! *LAUGHTER* What about Foxx? Single. Single too? This is looking good. What about Brittin? Single. What about you? Single. You've gotta be kidding me. I'm not. Is it one of those things where now that you're popular or famous, guys are too intimidated to approach you? No, that's not it. We're just too busy. I don't see me having any time to really have a boyfriend right now. I don't think he could understand that I'm not like every other girl that you could call and she'll be home all the time. I'm going away and I'm gonna be gone for long periods of time. Have you guys thought about play a show at the Calgary Stampede? We've been talking about it, haven't really said too much about it yet. But we've been talking about it. Let's get back to talking about what we were before. Have you had to break a lot of hearts lately? Ummmmmmm, no. I don't think so....not yet. Not yet? Ohhh, not yet.
