The keyboard is part of your hands.The sound is your voice.
Don't adore your instrument.
Listen to the whole.
About Conductors
You have to give up your will to make music.Conductors must serve to gain respect.
Serving the composer is not enough.
A good conductor awakens the playful child in adult musicians.
A good conductor is a magician who turns an orchestra into a chorus.
About Composers
The same 84 notes are arranged in all compositions.Dead composers have no feelings.
You feel the composer's will.
We would need to burn all compositions to learn to create.
We create things which are already created.
The composer is not your strict father.
You say his words, like Aaron the words of Moses.
He received what you preach.
About The Orchestra
A dragon with hundred heads.A legion of angels.
Artists who are in each other's way.
Without purpose it can turn into a mob.
Without purpose its only aim is to feed itself.
Once kings liked to be surrounded by musicians.
Once there was fascination about the crowd which stormed the Bastille.
Once there was fascination about tyrants.
An orchestra is a leftover.
We must find out if it has any purpose today.
About Being Free In Music
You may be masculine.You may be feminine.
You may kill.
You may love others.
You may be crazy.

You may flirt.
You may be rude.
It is just playing on piano.
It is just playing yourself.
About the public
It is wrong to divide people into performers and listeners.People need help to express themselves in music.
Mothers should sing to their babies.
Children should sing and play instruments.
Listening to music is wonderful.
Making music yourself is the best way.
An orchestra could help people to make music.
It should awaken their interest.
There is no point in trying to sell many tickets to the deaf and the bored.
The quality of the audience matters.
We must play to the interested.
