| ANNOUNCEMENTS: I have posted journal topics for the entire year. Journals must be written each day Mon.-Thurs. for five points per day. I will check them EVERY THURSDAY. See the link to the left of this announcement. Students who are absent ARE REQUIRED to make up the journals that were missed while absent. In addition to regular classroom operations and learning, here are some things you can expect each week: Mondays: Students will receive their weekly vocabulary list. Thursday: JOURNALS CHECKED for the week and Vocabulary QUIZ. Fridays: All of Mrs. Shettles' students will engage in Independent Reading on Fridays. This means that each student needs to bring an appropriate book, newspaper, or magazine to read all period! |
