23rd March. Spent 5.5 hours riding from Swansea, via Port Talbot down the A48 (and national cycle route 4) to Cardiff. Discovered no place in the youth hostel there so jumped on a train to Bristol to stay with my mate Huw. Spent another half an hour riding around Bristol, getting lost, so in total spent about 6 hours in the saddle this day.

22nd March went to Swansea via Llanelli, met magical mister Tuffs randomly there. Spent the night in Morriston at a campsite called 'Riverside', more like M4side, with a great view of the DVLA in the gaps between the mist. Four hours in the saddle.

I left on the 21st of March cycled to Carmarthen via Llanfihangel-ar-arth and Pencader. Camped at Llangunnor in Carmarthenshire in a farmers field next to a slurry pit. In Llanfihangel I saw a peacock pearched on a gate under a tree sheltering from the rain. Spent 2.5 hours in the saddle.

(err, yep that is me you see with very WHITE trainers and a beard in the pic below...)
