I would just like to point out that I live next door to the Seymour Centre. I've asked a lot of people who know about this sort of thing and nobody can tell me who exactly Seymore was. Does anyone out there know? On things Douglas Adams I heard on the radio the other night that the manual for the Anglo-Australian Observatory's telescope has DON'T PANIC written on it. I thought that was very cute. Well tonight along with many other List members I went to see Very's effort in the Uni band comp at Manning. In preparation much alcohol was consumed and dinner was ignored. We played pool for a while and I actually sank a couple of balls (admitedly one was for the other team). While this was going on Brenden, Alexis and Emma flod (hello flodder I know you're out there) decided to fight each other with pool cues. I have to report here that the Alexis/Carleen team cheated by replacing themselves with Yip and Buffy. Therefore because it was so close Lauren declared us the winners because we didn't cheat. It was decided that during the performance we should all act like the so called "meekrats". I do not know if this part eventuated because at the start of it those who suggested it ended up on the other side of the dance floor. The quote in the subject comes from Kat who shouted it and everyone laughed. You didn't really know how to react to that one did you Rachel? Brendan, Emma Flod, Alexis and Kat felt the need (or were dragged) to go into the middle of the dance floor where everyone could see them and spun round and round and round and then sat down and spent the time laughing. Apparently these actions were considered supportive and it all turned out alright in the end. From Katie back |
