Tamara Jaber is simply scandalous!

Is Tamara Jaber, far left, the most
scandalous of the eponymous group?

It's obvious, to say the least, that Tamara Jaber is the least talented of the current crop of Popstars, possessing neither Ana Belperio's good looks nor Daniella Scala's vocal talent.  Scandal'us have also been documented in teen magazine
TV Hits denying rumours which at that stage I wasn't even aware were circulating - that Tamara Jaber was only sixteen, a violation of the Popstars guidelines.

Fastforward a couple of weeks to the first episode of Channel 9's StarStruck, advertised as featuring the aforementioned Ms Jaber before she joined the group.  Recorded before the Popstars auditions, Ms Jaber was introduced as "sixteen year old Tamara Jaber".  Now, if the program was recorded late last year and Tamara's birthday is supposedly in August, how old does that make her?

Sixteen.

Our plot thickens.  Tamara does a rather poor performance of Christina Aguilera's
What A Girl Wants (one of my staples - I was actually looking forward to hearing it, but it was poor), further demonstrating her talent, or lack thereof.  But where things get interesting is when StarStruck reveals where they found Tamara Jaber.

The Brent Street Dance School.  Now, remind me, who runs the Brent Street Dance School?  Jack Howard.  And wasn't she one of the judges in
Popstars 2?  Well yes, she was.  And was this even mentioned once in the program?  No it wasn't.

The conclusion is obvious.  Ms Jaber's place in
Popstars was preassigned, likely even as the show began.  The girl can't sing, is younger than the Popstars guidelines stipulate, and seems to have been a star student at the dance school run by one of the judges.  And not one of these facts was mentioned on the program.

Yes indeed, Tamara Jaber
is dodgy much.
