| Clever Girl... >> Writing >> Mr Perfect... The book I'm working on at the moment, Mr Perfect, Mr Popular, Mr Celebrity, and Other Tragic Love Stories... tells the story of... well... what, really? A neurotic teenage girl's reminiscence over the last three years of her life, I suppose. At this point, I've only written about 12,000 words, because I'm slow, but if you look at Team Crap you'll see that I'm supposed to finish it by the end of the year. "Good luck to you", I hear you say. Well... thanks. In any case, this book is not, contrary to some people's opinions an autobiography. It may be supposed to be read as an autobiography, and yes, I did draw on places I was familiar with to create a heightened sense of reality, but it has little bearing on my own life. It is, I repeat, fiction. The book is split up into sections, and I've been writing little pieces here and there, including the last chapter, so yes, I know how it's going to end. There's also a sequel, but I obviously can't put up any of the (three) chapters I've written for that because that would give away the ending of this story (which some of you already know anyway ;)).
