| Island by the bay There's a world in my heart, that I did not start . There's a place that I have known, that I can never call my home. I will go there, now and then. For there I have, found a friend. His name is silence, he is always quiet, as I am whisked away, but I can never stay. Quietly, Quickly I drift away, to that place where I cannot stay, I will go there another day, to the island in the bay. |
| Dream World There's a world I have been to, where the grass is always green. The calm is so peaceful, and the air is fresh and clean. There are no people in my world, nobody to be hurt by, or to get mad at, Just me, myself, and I. The flowers bloom, all year round. Oh, how I love, the ocean's sound. I open my eyes, the world is gone! What a surprise! I should have known. |
