4 ply worsted weight yarn Approx:
Baby Pink White Dark Pink Hook size G stuffing
G hook or preferred size Multi colored Yarn in baby colors 2 small wiggly eyes
Body: Starting with pink, work as follows in rounds:
Rnd1: Ch 2, 6 sc in the 2nd ch from hook, join, ch1......6
Rnd2: 2 sc in each sc around, join, ch 1......12
Rnd 3: Sc in 1st sc, 2 sc in next sc, repeat around, join, ch1......18
Rnd 3-5: Sc in each sc around, finish off after rnd 5......18
Rnd 6: Attach white to back loop of joining stitch with a slip stitch, sc in the same loop. Sc in each remain sc around in back loops only, join, ch 1.......18
Rnd 7: Sc dec over 1st 2 sc, sc in the next sc, (Sc dec, sc) Repeat between ( ) around, join, ch1......12 (stuff body firmly)
Rnd 8: Sc dec around Join, ch 1 off sew opening closed.......6
Rnd 9: Repeat rnd 8......3
Leg -Work in continual rounds
Rnd 1: With pink, ch 5, sc in the 2nd ch from the hook and each of the next 2 sc, 3 sc in the last ch, working in unused loops of beg ch, sc in the next 3 sc, 3 sc in the last loop. (12 )
Rnd2: Working in BL only for this round, sc in each sc around (12)
Rnd 3: Sc in the next 2 sc, sc dec 3 times, sc in each f the next 4 sc. (9)
Rnd 4: Sc in the next sc, sc dec 2 times, sc in the next 4 sc. (7)
Rnd 5: Sc in each sc around, finish off.
Ear
Rnd 1: With pink ch 2 4 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, Join, finish off. (6)
Arm-Worked in continual rounds
Rnd 1: With pink, ch 2, 6 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook.
Rnd 2-3: Sc in the next sc around. Finish off after round 3 leaving an 8" yarn tail for sewing.
Flatten rnd 3 and sew opening closed.
Ruffle: Attach multi colored yarn with a slip stitch in the front loop of rnd 6, work 3 sc in same loop, work 3 sc in each remaining sc around, join, fasten off.
Blanket:
Rnd 1: Ch 12, Dc in the 4th ch from the hook and each ch across, ch 3 turn
Rnd 2- 5: DC in each dc across, ch 3 and turn. Finish off after row 5. Attach to free arm at the tip.
Assembly: Use Photo as a guide Attach legs to the lower front of the body. Attach arms just above the ruffle, with flat side horizontal. Glue eyes to the center of the head on the baby pink. With baby pink, whipstitch 6 times over one sc of rnd. 4 for nose. With dark pink, stitch mouth under the nose. With baby pink, use the same whip stitch technique of the nose, to put 4 toes on each foot. Slip knot the yellow yarn thru the center of the head, and unravel the strands. Stitch one arm to face where mouth would be.
