Disclaimer:I don't own CCS, Clamp does. Don't sue! Um, this story has Silver Star and Fiery as substitutes for Yue and Kero. I never stole any ideas from the stories of Pern.
Mystical Ying and Yang
Chapter 7: Celebration Betrayal
Sobbing on her soft bed, Sakura's mind was totally confused. Bits of thoughts floated around in her head, demanding to be heard. Partially it was on Yukito's death. She and Yukito had been almost brother and sister and he had protected her from Touya's teasing. But now to find that her pretend brother was dead was devastating and then the accusation of Syaoran of killing Yukito.
She couldn't choose between them if the time came that there was war between them. But that look in Syaoran's face totally puzzled her. It had seemed so, empty and totally blank. It had seemed like he had done it since he hadn't said anything.
Wiping away the tears that had been shed, she looked at the stone window. It had an edge out of the actual window. There staring at her was
Scorch, Syaoran's phoenix.
She had actually thought for a few seconds that it was Fiery because the two birds were almost identical. But you could tell that this bird had a much hotter plumage from the redness and the heat that radiated from it.
Scorch screeched and then Sakura noticed the miniature note hanging off its leg. Pulling the small note from the fiery bird, she gave a nod to the bird and it flew off. Then sitting back down on her white cherry blossom bed, she slowly rolled the note open.
Dear Sakura,
Hey, I'm sorry if I did anything wrong. Meet me inside of you-know-where and I'll explain everything inside.
Syaoran
Immediately understanding, she sent a mind call to the pregnant Silver Star to meet her at the platform. The reaching out to Night Wolf's mind, she realised that Syaoran and Night were already at the secret house. (If you hadn't guessed by now, it was the Kinomoto's private home from the clan, remember?) Then meeting Silver at the platform, she hopped on. Letting Silver know where they were going, she let her thoughts drift again.

Waiting under the weeping willow where the two had kissed, Syaoran's fingers played with the elaborate key that Sakura had created for his convenience. Rubbing the golden key that the Create card had made, he sat waiting for the lovely Mistress of the cards.
When she had run away when her brother had said he had killed Yukito, he had felt unusual. Being accused was a thing not often done to the serious warrior. His clan knew the possibilities if anyone had dared accused him of something. He had killed a young man with a slice of his blade for accusing him. He had softened a bit of course when he had met Sakura.
Ah, sweet, loving Sakura. His world had changed a lot since he met her. Yeah, his clan members had whispered it behind his back, but he really couldn't change it. He adored her with all of his heart. He loved everything about her. Her slender body, innocent and cheerful personality, charming ways, determination and her emerald eyes. Sakura had changed his life.
Thinking these thoughts, he was interrupted by rustling. When Sakura emerged from the trails of leaves, he beckoned for her to come nearer.

Staring into her warm amber eyes, she just stood there.
"Did you do it?" she said, slightly afraid.
"No, but I know one of my clan did," he said with a small frown.
Wiping away a crystalline tear from her cheek, he embraced her into a tight hug. (Awwwwww ^^)
"Forgive me?" he whispered into her auburn hair.
Looking up to him, she gave him a warm shivery smile. Then wrapping her arms around the Clan leader's neck, she kissed him lightly. Then breaking the kiss, she whispered, close enough so that Syaoran could feel her warm breath on his lips.
"Consider your self forgiven."
As the couple embraced again, a face from a hidden magic bubble in the tree's branches and leaves, grew with hate.

1 month later
After Silver Star had given birth to stone-hard eggs of a silvery, shadow colour, the candidates had arrived from all the clans around. Hoping to get a rare dragonet with a high ranking many arrived in anticipation, while some came, hearing of the joyous occasion that was to be held when the eggs cracked and chose their partners.
Out on a night that had the moon shining brightly and the silvery stars twinkling at her, Sakura put her silver flute to her warm lips.
Trilling an enchanting melody to the ears of nature, she played a beautiful piece composed by her. It spoke of silver mist at night, peace in life and nature, simple elegance in the world around them, peacefulness of the night and love for life. One listening to her playing would have imagined a whole world, silent but full of life.
She had wanted peace from all the hustle and bustle the clan had gotten since Silver had her eggs. Sure, she loved all the excitement but it was getting a bit too much for her to handle. Also Syaoran had been acting strangely lately.
Seeming like he had two different personalities, one warm and one cold, she was unsure about their relationship. He seemed to be handing around the stables a lot, chatting to a girl. Sandra, owner of the green dragon, Ivy Creeper. He would wander off for a few hours and appear with a bewildered face on, saying that he had lost the time.
Was he cheating on her?
Pushing that thought away as she played on, she was startled when a warm hand landed on her poised shoulder. Putting her flute down from her beautiful face, she turned her head to the intruder.
Syaoran stood there with a cold face on him.
"Kinomoto, I hate you and I never want to see you again!"
With that, he turned and marched away. Disbelief on her face, she watched as her marched to the waiting Sandra and embraced her into a heart-breaking kiss. Letting out a sob, not believing what she saw, she dropped her flute and sprinted away, tears flowing down her face.
The flute lay there on the rock, moonlight gleaming on the silvery surface, as Sandra snapped her fingers.
"Come on, we have mischief to make."
As she walked past the flute that lay there, she paused and gripped it in her hands. Casting it aside, she marched on as Syaoran followed with a blank face.
Who is Sandra? Chapter 8!
