Chapter 6: A Brother's News
Discovering their lost love, Syaoran and Sakura merged their clans together though many of the neighbouring clans let known their objection. Though doubts were of the couple being together, no one voiced it out loud.
Many things were changed in the old Kinomoto clan grounds. New caves were used, friendships grew, new blood introduced into the dragon bloodline. Also a celebration was to be held for the new joined clan.
A few months before when the mating had been held, many of the female dragons had been pregnant. Finally, when Silver Star had grown a visible bulge in her stomach region, the news had spread like quick fire all through out the clan and neighbouring clans. That Silver Star was pregnant and all eligible candidates that wanted dragons of exquisite blood and qualified for one would have to stay at the caverns waiting for the arrivals. There were friends and strangers alike that lived in the caverns designed for starting dragon riders. Not all of them would be chosen for dragons were picky and knew exactly which people would treat them best.
On that particular day, Sakura was caring for the burdened Silver Star. Mucking out the hay and straw that lined Night Wolf and Silver Star stall, Sakura and Syaoran shoved the dirtied straw and hay away to be used as fertiliser in the fields. Then wiping the sweat from her dirty face, Sakura grabbed a greasy cloth and started on Silver Star's scales. Leaving Night Wolf to his devices, Syaoran pulled down the heavy tack and started cleaning it with the soap.
Grinning at Sakura's humming, he quickly finished his cleaning and then grabbed a pitchfork covered with hay. Then leaving of the other side of Silver Star, he dumped it all on top of Sakura.
Being chocked for a few seconds, Sakura then shrieked.
"Syaoran!" before running over the other side of Silver Star.
He wasn't there.
"Syaoran!?!" she said, darting her eyes all around. Then hearing a rustle she whipped around and saw Syaoran creeping up on her.
Seeing her emerald green eyes glare at him he quickly leapt upon her. Then his fingers were all on her, tickling and finding her most sensitive spots as he attacked an assault on the young girl. As she struggled to get away, laughing really hard, they both fell on a stack of hay. Exhausted but still ticklish, she quickly removed Syaoran's hands from her sides. Looking into his fiery eyes, their faces came closer to meet.
"GET YOUR HANDS AWAY FROM MY SISTER!"
As the two young lovers quickly drew apart, a very angry man strode up to them.
"Touya?!?!" Sakura voiced a look of happiness on her face.
The man's face softened a bit as he replied.
"Yeah, it's me�" he said, looking at her.
"Just who are you?" Syaoran said, pulling attention to him.
"Syaoran, this is my brother Touya Kinomoto," said Sakura, looking back and forth between the two of them.
"Well, sister dear, aren't you going to introduce each other?" Touya said while glaring at the young man.
Still glancing nervously between the glaring men, she said, "This is Syaoran Li, head of the Li Clan."
Bellowing, Touya charged at Syaoran, but Sakura quickly held him back.
"HE KILLED YUKITO!!!!!!!!" Touya bellowed while struggling to get past Sakura without hurting her. (A.N: Sowwie to all Yukito fans, had to kill someone dear to her.)
Looking pale and stricken, she quickly looked at Syaoran's blank face.
"You didn't did you?" she asked almost sobbing.

Seeing Touya back was heart-warming to Sakura but that feeling quickly changed, as the two men showed their deep hate for each other. Wondering why Touya was acing this way, she let the thought go as he asked to be introduced.
"This is Syaoran Li, head of the Li Clan."
Seeing the fury go to Touya's already red face, she quickly moved herself in front of him. Her brother was strong and seemed as if he wanted to tear Syaoran to shreds.
"HE KILLED YUKITO!!!!!!!!"
When Touya said that, Sakura's mood immediately changed. Yukito had been one of her closest friends; always ready to comfort her and he acted more like an older brother than even Touya. All of her face, drained of colour, she looked at Syaoran. His face was blank. Unbelieving blank.
"You didn't did you?" she asked, horror-stricken as Syaoran turned away.
Letting go of Touya, she ran to her room, outwardly crying.
Yukito's dead! Chapter 7!
