Chapter 2: The Taming Of An Outsider
Arriving back, she hustled Silver Star into her room. Silver Star then deposited the stranger on Sakura's bed. Waiting for him to wake up, she tended Fiery's injuries. In fact, you could hardly see any damage done to the bird. He was at that time, paralysed by the person. Seeing that Fiery was okay, she let him fly onto his stand. Then turning to the dragon she got her grease cloth and went over the scales while Silver hummed in pleasure.
Soon after checking both of her friends, she went to her bed and peeled back the head of the green cape. Looking at the face before her, she smiled. There was a young man, around the same age as her, with brown-chocolate hair, and a handsome face with a frown upon it. Then hearing a knock on her door, she left the guy on her bed and went to answer the door.
Seeing the whole clan in front of her doorstep, she heard a gasp all around. Quickly shutting the door and telling Silver Star to look after the guy, she led everyone to the assembly room.
Telling everyone but the headmen to go back to their work, she sat in her father's study. Asking them why there was a big commotion, one of then blurted out, "He's not of our clan!" when another said something which puzzled Sakura.
"He is a clan leader like you!" said another with a shocked face on.
"So?" questioned Sakura.
"He's the head of the Li Clan, the one that's been conquering the neighbouring clans all around. The survivors from the clans have seen him in action and they say he is deadly," another answered.
" I can handle anything. I've got the Clow Cards haven't I!" said stated, raising her voice slightly.
As all the men bowed their heads, one looked up and said, "We only want safety for the clan and you," leaving Sakura feeling ashamed.
"How about this? I'll keep him in my room, spelled that he may not exit. And a guard may be posted there," said Sakura, relenting a bit.
As the headmen brighten up a bit she made her way back to her room. Stopping Tomoyo who was walking along with Eriol, she asked if she could have some soup for the stranger. After getting Tomoyo to agree to this, she entered her room to find the stranger pinned to the wall by Silver Star.
"You!" the guy uttered in a fierce voice. Struggling against Silver Star, he thrashed around.
"You'll hurt yourself even more," Sakura warned.
"How about this, if you stop struggling you can have some soup. But if you don't I'll have Earthy tie you up on the chair and I'll hand feed you soup."
"Never!" he growled as dark amber eyes glared at her.
"Fine!" Sakura said, feeling irritated by this arrogant person.
Calling to Earthy, she called Silver Star away from the guy. As he darted towards her quickly, vines appeared from the ground and took him over to the chair, binding his arms and legs. Then a knock on her door was heard. Tomoyo entered and smiled at her friend as Sakura took the soup and went to the prisoner.
Refusing to open his mouth, the prisoner just glared at Sakura. Smiling evilly, she said, "If you don't open your mouth, I'll tip it all on you," and as he open his mouth up reluctantly, she shoved a spoonful in his mouth.
As his face turned red, he spat out the soup on the floor. "Hot!" was all he could say while sticking his tongue out to cool it.
Grinning, Sakura said, "Opps! I forgot to blow it! Though it serves you right!" as she scooped some more soup and blew on it gently. Telling him to open his mouth up, pour the liquid down his mouth. Doing this for a few more times, she told him that he couldn't get out of this room.
"It's spelled, and Silver Star and Fiery are here to watch you, so how about this. If you don't try to attack me, I'll release you and you can drink your soup."
Nodding his head, she let the vines go back in the ground. As he rubbed his sore arms, he suddenly heard the firebird utter a quivering note. Then as all of his weapons flew from their hidden spots on him, he tried to grab them. Giggling, Sakura turned to him.
"I'm going to dinner. Someone will send you something to eat. You can't escape through the door. Now I'm going to change."
Going to her closet, she chose a cherry blossom dress. Taking it to the bathroom, she slid the door shut. As the outsider stood there for a few seconds, he took off to the door. Opening the door, he ran and then crashed into an invisible barrier. Flying backwards, he hit the ground and groaned.
Feeling a twitch in her magic, Sakura grinned as she applied some lip-gloss and tied her hair. (Sakura dressed real fast all right?)
Coming out, she looked at the groaning male and smirked. " I told you it was spelled," was all she said as she walked through the door. Closing it behind her, she smiled.

After staring at the young girl, the green-cloaked person had a mental fight with himself.
"God, she is lovely�what am I thinking?!? She's the enemy!" said his inner mind.
Then still fighting, his stomach grumbled and seeing the leftover soup, he picked it up, sat down on a chair and started sipping.

Upon entering the dining room, silence reigned as Sakura made her way to the front seat. As she sat down, one of the headmen spoke a prayer and the people tucked readily into their food. Having some sausages, occasionally dabbing her lips on the napkin, she talked to Tomoyo and Eriol who were her best friends.
"So, who is he and why is he here?" Tomoyo demanded.
Sighing at her friend's determination, she said, " It all started when Ronald grabbed my hand and proclaimed his love for me. Refusing him and seeing all the others approach me, I fled."
Hearing her friends chuckling, she continued.
"Deciding to go for a flight with Fiery and Silver, I called them and went out. Accidentally flying out of the clan's territories, Silver and I was attacked by a black dragon. As Fiery defended us, the partner of the dragon fired a green streak at Fiery. Angered, I called all of the elements and paralysed the black. Then calling Lightning, it struck the dragon. I had totally forgotten that there was a person on it. I soo regret it now. Anyway, I took the guy home seeing that he was injured."
"Wow! I wonder why he was attacking you though," remarked Tomoyo.
Shrugging, Sakura and the rest of her clan, continued their meal.
