Setting- Canada and Jon�s House
(Chris and Nick are standing frozen like statues in the middle of the dark forest. Dozen of pairs of glowing red eyes close in around them)
Chris- Well mate, this is the end of life as we know it...
Nick- What are they
Chris- Well..Moo-
???- Oy, we�ll not be talked about like we�re some monster that will kill you.
Nick- What? Who said that?
(One of the pairs of red eyes fade and a large moose appears before them)
Moose- Well, that would be I old chap.
Nick- But, but you�re not human!
Moose- Aren�t you an observant little laddie.
Nick- I-I don�t understand....Oh wait, this is a dream I�ll just have to wake myself up.
(Nick picks up a stick near him and starts beating his head with it. Chris makes to stop him but allows the self-abuse for a few more moments before finally stopping him)
Chris- Easy there Nick. This isn�t a dream
Nick- But the moose is talking...moose cant talk...can they?....Have I been drugged....Are you sure this isn�t a dream.
(Nick beings hitting him self with the stick again. The Moose knocks the stick from his hands)
Moose- You�re going to kill yourself right off if you keep doing that. I best explain to you what�s going on...though it seems your friend is already familiar with us.
(Nick looks at Chris quizzically)
Moose- First off, we�re not Moose....we�re Canadian Mooses...yes you do add an �S� to pluralize us. You American�s have always had that wrong. Secondly, living in Canada gives us the special ability to speak English, we also know French as well.
Nick- But why do you have British accents?
Moose- We�re not quite sure...Nevermind that though. What are your names?
Nick- Im Ni-
(Chris interupts)
Chris- Im Carlos, and this is Nicolai.
(The Moose eyes Chris oddly and then turns back to Nick)
Moose- What�s your real name
Chris- *mutters* damnit
Nick- Um, I�m uh...Nick...and this is Chris
