| The Black Sand Desert |

| The Black Sand Desert spreads over half of the planet Zakiyya. It gets its name from the pure black sand that stretches across the land. Black mountains crawl from the sand in a beautiful display of horroific statues. They reach out of the ground in attempts to grasp the light that falls all around them. Oddly enough the black sand doesn't reflect the suns' rays, but seem to soak up the light. As if the desert was a living black hole of darkness sucking at the light. Very little life can be found in this desert. The three suns that circle the desert seem to bring a touch of death to all that dare to brave this unforgiving place. There is very little found, but if you dig deep enough you might find something that holds enough water to save a life. Their is one type of animal that seems unaffected by the three suns and that is the Turckton |
