The Turckton
The Turckton is a scaly beast that dwells in the desert.  The scales is like armor protecting this beast from a number of weapons and the suns of the desert.  There are not any known weapons that can penatrate the scales of this animal.

It stands on four legs about 15 hands high from the ground to it's underbelly, and is twice as long.  It is very fast on these legs.  The webbed feet allow it to float over the sand of the desert.

It's nose is squaish in a seemingly flat oval shaped face.  It's tongue is a cylinder shape and is used for drinking and storing water for later use.  It acts the same way as a straw.  They don't seem to eat anything, but they do drink A LOT of water.

It's ears are oval shaped holes on the side of it's head.  It is their favorite place to be scratched.

It's eyes are very narrow and small and are also on the side of it's face.  They are usually red or white in color.

The underbelly of the Turckton is their most vulnerable place.  Their underbelly is scaleless and the skin that forms the underbelly is like the softest of silks and shifts from one color to another.

The scales and the skin of the Turckton are most craved by those that are willing to pay the money to have the great beast slain for a Turckton coat or the protection of the scales.
