The McDougalls The first arrivals
Emma McDougall (left in photo) was the first incoming passenger to 'hit the tarmac' at Lismore's new airport terminal which opened for business on Sunday, December 3, 2000.

Emma, her sister Angela (centre) and mother Vicki (right) flew in from Sydney on Hazelton Airlines to visit relatives in the district.
view What a view!
Looks like a picture, doesn't it?
It's the view from the lounge, overlooking the tarmac and surrounding countryside.

Possibly the perfect view for an airport groupie?
space Room to throw a cat?
Lismore's old antiquated terminal was nothing like this.
You could fit a few football teams in here.
In the old terminal - six was a crowd.
Lismore City Airport processes over 50,000 passengers per year with three return services to Sydney daily.
