Jacob always has his lap-top computer, shades, trench coat, knife tucked in his boot, and a Glock .22 at all times.

Rotes:
1. Electric Dump: (Forces 2)- Jacob reverses the flow of electricity in his computer so a sudden strong bolt shoot out of the back of the laptop through the ports, towards his target.
2. Sight-Shift: (Correspondence 2 + Spirit 2)- Jacob brings up a picture of a particular location using Corr, and then by pushing alt/tab, he can shift the picture from the mortal world to the spirit world and back.
3. Virtual Seance: (Correspondence 2 + Spirit 2)- Jacob uses Corr, Spirit, and the screen of his laptop to search a building for spirits. When he finds one/some, he puts his head-gear on (a set of VR glasses with headphone and mic attachments) and is able to communicate with them.
4. Visual Recall: (Forces 2)- someone Mind-links with Jacob, and Jacob can turn the mental-pictures into electronic impulses and have them appear on his monitor for everyone to see.
5. Fry-Daddy, or Oops!: (Entropy 2 + Forces 2)- Jacob can electrify an object using Forces, and then use Entropy to make it just happen to fall onto someone/something. This works especially well if the target is standing in water!
6. Looks Like Rain: (Forces 2 + Correspondence 2)- Jacob brings up his weather-program on the computer, uploads the map of the area he wants to affect, and then uses his trinary deck to type in new atmospheric pressure-readings, and then relays those to the sky using Forces and Corr. He could also encourage already-present clouds to rain by adding Entropy 2.
7. Guard Duty: (Forces 2)- Jacob has fashioned some small metal spheres to interact with his laptop. He places them in a perimeter around an area he wants to guard, and using Forces, lasers reflect from one sphere to the next, connected to his laptop, creating a sphere of lasers all around the area. If anything passes through the lasers, the computer will emit a warning-sound of Jacob's chosing.

Description:
Jacob is a young man of 23, he has dark brown eyes, is 6 feet tall, with a slender build, and long dark hair, usually tied back into a ponytail. He is a handsome man, but there is an air about him that suggests that something tragic has happened in his past. He is almost never seen without his leather trenchcoat, and a pair of dark sunglasses (and, it is not uncommon to see him with a cup of coffee). He often dresses in a business-like fashion, but will occasionaly wear ripped jeans, and street clothes, depending on his mood. More than once, he has been mistaken for a drug dealer, and has developed a suspicion of police.
Role-playing:
Jacob is addicted to caffeine, so unless he has a constant flow of coffee or Jolt or something going into his body, he'll get cranky and begin a search for caffeine that will not end until he finds some! He's constantly seen typing away at his lap-top computer, and because of his ability to concentrate under highly-stressful circumstances, he can navigate his computer with no difficulty in the middle of battle.
Jacob suffers from chronic nightmares-- they used to be about his dead fiancee Michelle, but ever since he and Tania got together and had a daughter, they've mostly been about Tania and Sarah...with some traumatic events from his past popping up here and there.
Jacob is a very humorous, quick-witted guy. He throws out one-liners-- usually in the heat of battle-- that entertain his cabal-mates, and tries to make funny observations when there's too much tension. He's also very caring, and will immediately go to a friend's side to help them through problems whenever he sees someone in need.
History:
Jacob was born into a low-class family, barely able to support themselves. He was jealous of the upper class, and he vowed to rise out of the squalor of his birth. Jacob was a bright child, but even with his intelligence and charisma, he couldn't get a job, because of his background. Frustrated, he began to commit petty crimes at the age of 17. Then, one day, he discovered a computer at his school library. He focused his attention on the computer, and became fascinated. He was a natural at it! He took what money he had made from his illict activities, and bought a computer. As his knowledge and skill grew, he began to realize that there was more knowledge out there than was being given out, so he decided to learn how to hack. At this time, Jacob was 19, and he was going out with a woman he loved very much, Michelle. Michelle had similar interests as Jacob (including hacking) and they were planning to get married.
Then, one day, Jacob found a very mysterious document within some government files. It detailed plots about a new technology that was being tested that would control the masses by projecting subliminal images through their TV sets! Jacob got a call from a mysterious stranger who wanted to arrange a meeting to buy the document for 50 million dollars! Although suspicious, Jacob decided that with the money, he and Michelle would never have to worry about anything ever again. He told Michelle about it, and she insisted that she go to the meeting place. The meeting turned sour-- it was really set up by the N.W.O. to kill Jacob and get back the info. In the resulting fire-fight, Michelle took a fatal wound to the head. Jacob, feeling intense rage, suddenly Awakened, and released a huge energy burst that fried most of the N.W.O. agents there, and knocked him unconscious. Fortunately for him, some Virtual Adepts found out about the deal, and arrived to the scene to drag him off. He has been a wholehearted V.A. ever since.
In 1996 he joined the cabal that he's still a member of, and met Tania. During one tragic moment in a long year of tragic moments, Tania and her ex-dead lover Travis were possessed by a demon. In the resulting fight, the cabal had to kill Travis and wound Tania to drive the demon out, and Jacob had been the one to cover the unconscious, naked Tania with a towel and carry her away from the scene. From that moment on, he'd found himself drawn to her. Years later during the cabal's trip to Egypt to recover a telescope, the two had finally declared their love for one another, and that night Tania became pregnant with Sarah. Jacob was stunned at this news, but because of his love for Tania he was very excited. The two now raise Sarah-- an unnaturally bright child with powers beyond Jacob's understanding-- together, and don't have any intentions of getting married.
