Married Deborah Mitchell in Winchester VA. They were there for at least 3 years. on tax list for 1782. Moved to Concord, Lewis County, Kentucky approximately 1794. He ran a large canoe on the Ohio River, trading at the different points between the mouth of the Scioto River and Maysville, KY. One night his boat and all of his goods were lost, and he himself, while trying to swim to the Kentucky shore, was drowned. 1782-Andrew registered to pay taxes in Frederick County VA, 1782. Listed as family of 3 Whites, which would be Andrew, Deborah, and first child, probably Hamilton. 1787-Frederick Co, VA, Andrew registered to pay taxes. According to tax list had 2 (horses, mares, colts, mules), and 6 cattle. 1,4


abt 1779 when Andrew was 24, he married Deborah Mitchell1, in Winchester, VA.1,4 Born abt 1761.1 Deborah died abt 1850, she was 89.1
